hard to pick a fav: Kiki's so great, but it took me a couple of watches to appreciate Howl's. Porco Rosso and Whisper of the Heart are perennial favs - but pretty much any Ghibli!

I recognized that park! can confirm it's absolutely gorgeous. i was there in mid-november! they seem to have a lot of plum trees so i recommend checking it out then 👀 strawberries in japan are completely unhinged, they're so good compared to what i can get in canada, so i'm supremely jealous!! i spent the end of my time in tokyo in ginza, so this made me feel "homesick" despite it, you know, not actually being home...

Oh that tea date looked amazing! So cute. Also, a trick I use if a tshirt is a little too boxy is turning it inside out and trying it on then taking in the sides just a bit. You can even do it with hand sewing if you don’t have a machine. Im… big on top, haha, so it helps to pull the waist in a little for a more fitted look. Stay dry and good luck with with thesis!

Regarding 1080 or 4k I think if you have the storage to shoot in 4k do it but I don’t think the difference between the 2 is so drastic that you can only shoot in one format.

Greetings from Tokyo 😁 Finally visited from south Korea and I've seen and done so much! Biggest culture shock for me since I've lived in Korea going on 4 years was how tiny the Japanese are compared to the koreans lol 😆 But I'm small so I felt right at home 😅😅

1080 was fine with me. That tea was so pretty! 🥰 Definitely try to go there during Sakura season! Congratulations on turning in the written thesis 🎉. I bet that was rough but you did it! The museum was lovely to see too so thanks for taking us with. For beauty my fav is Spirited Away and for warm fuzzies it is The Cat Returns.

Great vlog again and that afternoon tea looked amazing! I have to remember that spot for the next time I’ll come to Tokyo. I don’t think it’s necessary to film in 4K because honestly I didn’t notice a difference. And even after I read your caption I can’t see it 😅. Talking about this beautiful Kikky poster, I’d put it on the wall behind your bed. Because it’s so different in style from the genshin poster I think a little more space between the two would let them shine in their own special way.

I'm going to be in Japan in two months and I am so excited! It'll be in exactly 2 months at this point. I need to seriously start writing down all the things I want to do. (...When I'm not working!) I had 2 questions about the tea: 1. How much did it cost (and you answered that, whew...not cheap) 2. And was everything sweet, or were there both sweet and savory items. I'm going to assume the latter since you said that originally fish was part of it. The view was gorgeous; I really want to check out that garden!

How did you find out about the Tea at the Conrad, please? I ( looked at their website and couldn’t find anything. We’re hoping to travel to Tokyo in October, so I’m already scouting for cute Halloween tea events, etc.)

Always amazed that there are so many places to visit in Tokyo. As for food, I thought your people don't eat pork, not fish. I am afraid that things are over-priced in Japan.
