I love your videos. It depicts the life of a single working man very well. If I may suggest something, I would like to see your interpretation of a day as a factory worker. I do that myself, and at least in my case it pays well for something that doesn't require a university degree. But the work itself is brutal. Pushing reels and pallets manually that often weigh as much as a small vehicle. Because in certain areas motorized devices to assist in moving them don't fit or simply aren't available. Loading gigantic pressure cookers with a rope hoist to move the track of product, into it. Similar to a dock winch. Removing plastic covering from cables by hand and feeding the covering into heavy machinery so a roller system can peel it off and transfer the "stripped" cable to another reel. And I do all of that while I'm in my 40's. At least the overtime and night shift differential are all right.

@@degenetron7590 trust me it is not; you are responsible for the lives of everyone in the back of your train, some mistakes can easily land you in jail. dealing with people who come too close to the edge every day is very annoying. plus any delays on the line means you are delayed too... there's a lot of advantages but waking up at 4 am and the potential suicidal person jumping in front of you is not part of them. also railway signalling is more complicated than "keeping an eye out for the signals", what about when they dont work? there's a whole procedure for that.. as things gets more modern this is less and less of a problem, but many metro networks (like the paris metro, which i am a metro driver on) are aged and dated and so you have to do a lot of the things yourself, ie if your train breaks down you basically have to fix it yourself or at least isolate the fault which requires you to walk around on the tracks and touch high voltage things... while you have 500 people stuck for 20 mins in your train looking at you with a death stare

@@borisjohnson5985 Yep, and here in Belgium it's a 1 year training after you've went through the selection phases which are eliminatory, I suppose this is also the case for the rest of european countries. It seems though it's easier to become a metro or tram driver than a train driver, they all have their differences

Wow recently I moved out to Barcelona for my collage studies and you just published this video, and the fact is a lot of trains here are delayed, whatever it is the case the train driver isn't the one to be angry at. The are doing all they can

It is the first time that I stopped the video at every photo frame to see the amount of details in the video that go unnoticed by the majority of viewers, and oh man, it is incredible. From the bottle of wine on the bed, to the post-it note asking to his boss for a pay rise, to the middle finger to his boss on his boss' contact, to using the city and underground of Barcelona but with the carriages of the London tube. Very well done mate, this and the video of the bus driver are amazing👏👏

To tell the truth, as a subway driver, shift work has made my body ruined, my company also invented two shifts, work from 4 to 5 in the morning to 10 and then rest, and work from 4 to 5 in the evening to 8 or 9. Sometimes the managers do not treat us as workers, but just as consumables. I love this job, but for my health and future, This job should only be considered a transition. When I save enough money, I can find a job with more freedom.Life should not be a track, should be a open country.

Forgot the part where you as the driver is the last person to see the face of a jumper. It happens more often than you know. The year I quit, 2020, there was a two week window with 6 jumpers, four of which chose me. At the time I thought: If you are unlucky, you see their face and expression, if you're lucky, the back of their head, if you're very lucky they miss-time their jump and land under, if you are very very lucky they leave it to late and get clipped by the corner and ragdolled across the platform. I can still remember one young lad's closed eye smile. I get weeks where as I'm falling asleep I'm transported back to some of them, jolting awake physically. Feels bad man.
