Lee, all of us who are married understand how it works, the wives have to deal with the slightly daft, less than brilliant but good hearted puppies they call husbands and we the husbands should be grateful for the attention ( frustrating as that can be at times). Chrtistie, well done on the editing and keeping Lee on the straight and narrow path to recovery. Lee, thanks again for all of your inspirational content, just took my first push bike ride on the single speed in 10 months last week and it felt almost normal. Good luck with the healing process , had a fixator on for 11 months 🤕, used a similar machine to stimulate bone growth which really helped 👍🏻and sped the process up quite a lot , seeing the pin sites and remembering the cleaning of them 😵😵, all the best and positive attitude helps a lot 👍🏻

Good on you for using the laser and stim machines. BTW the machine you spoke of that “makes your muscles work” is called a TENS Unit. Electrical stimulation sent through your muscles is what makes them twitch. Good stuff.

Lee you'll have to give John MC pint a ring. He knows all about those frames! Can you speed up the healing process by hyperbaric therapy? I've heard red light therapy may be beneficial too. I think what's been described to me as red light therapy is the laser you have. I feel sorry for you buddy.

You are such a lucky man to have the support you have around you. I am curently in a cage as very stupidly tripped on a kerb and smashed my right tibia. I heard the bone snap before i hit the ground and landed on my shopping. Nothing as exciting or dramatic as your accident but hey ho LOL. I was in hospital for 3/1/2 weeks as i live on my own so all sorts of stuff needed to happen first. Cage will be on for another 5 months yet (been 8 weeks already) and pretty much housebound. Family have been amazing but they work and only so much they can do. Wish you well for speedy recovery. The other bummer was treated myself to a hot tub in January and have only used it 6-7 times due this dammed cage.

Just a thought Lee with regard to knee bend when cycling and catching on top of lrg cage. Could you maybe try shorter reach crank arms, would reduce amount of flexion at knee.
