Yes please, more videos on what the relationship was like. Things that were said that could be red flags that you don’t really notice as such etc, signs to look for when in a relationship I think these things would be great to expand on and help a lot of people in toxic relationships. My goodness, you should be soooo proud of yourself! What a warrior you are! I know you are still healing from all that’s gone before, but what a phenomenal role model you are for your kids! You’ve made some very tough decisions and I have every confidence they are the right ones for you and your babies. Yes, they will want to understand why, what and all the reasons, but I’m sure you will also deal with it in the very best way. I feel there is still a lot of healing for you, so take that time and if necessary get the therapy. It will help you through the next few months or so as you settle into your new life. What a video! You had me in tears, crying along. Although a tough decision it is definitely the right one, to keep your kids away. My mother was dependent on alcohol and it unfortunately took her life in the end. I hope that your kids dad gets the help he needs for their benefit. You’ve been through a lot and being a single mum is definitely the hardest job! With all of the ACEs (adverse childhood experiences) that you’ve had to endure yourself and in your life, you have done amazing things in your life!! To think you’ve been in that relationship since 16 and you’ve still managed to achieve so much! I actually thought you looked like you lost weight, your story eerily similar to mine, please dont want worry about the kids being damaged in the future, my son is now 27, his dad didnt bother with him in part to punish me and stop me having a social life but my son is a very happy respectful contented young man, he doesnt have issues about not having his dad around, im much older than you, i get it with the weight, its a battle i can never win, i dont date or go near men either take it 1lb at a time, thats what im doing, i also had 2 alcoholic parents both died young, all these things build strength, strength thats there even when we are falling apart, you and your wee ones will be ok xxxx

I know what you mean regarding life changes , it will take a long time to settle and acclimatise but it is not a race , I was made redundant 3 years ago and it was a job I loved and I still miss it , I then had a part time freelance job which had to end due to pandemic , since then I have had the privilege of looking after mum and grandsons but it is very hard when you have had a regular salary all your life and companionship of work colleagues Sorry You have had such a tough time with ex x
