Hi there! Thanks for tuning in today! It's been a while, as I’ve disappeared on here for a bit, so let’s catch up! Things have been busier than normal this fall and while we enjoyed all of our activities and outings, we're ready to hunker down a bit for the winter and enjoy the coziness of home. We have a family dynamic that thrives on maintaining a routine, so I definitely get that! Loved seeing their reaction to the Disney surprise, and that's so fun that you've been able to make use of that pass to visit museums and gardens, etc. Figuring out the balance of time at home and adventures can always be tricky...and it shifts in different seasons.

If any homeschoolers are looking for a free resource, I am a History professor and put all my lectures on KZfaq as a free resource. Western civilization and the history of the Middle East. They are generally good for students about 12 and older.

Yay, glad to see an update!! I hope your husband feels better soon. We did Disney this past January and had a blast- such great memories! Glad you all got to have that experience! Looking forward to a curriculum update when you have time!

I just finished the video! I'm so sorry your husband is having chronic pain from his accident. My husband has chronic neck pain requiring a lot of meds and procedures to manage it and it's so hard to watch the one you love most suffer daily. Praying for both of them tonight. 🙏 Also your baby is adorable!

It’s put on by our local library so they do all the work, we just show up. So I’m not sure I can be of much help 😕

We went right at 3 months and it was the perfect age. She wasn’t too too little but still sleepy enough to nap a good portion of the day. My mother in law (and parents) went and since my MIL didn’t really want to ride rides, she was Mia’s Disney buddy. It was a huge blessing and let us enjoy a lot of the rides with the girls. The fans that attached to the stroller were a must! We had two and portable chargers in case they needed charging. And she had those blowing on her all the time. We also tried to make sure we found an indoor spot for her and my MIL to hang out in so they weren’t in the sun all day long. I just put her in a onesie to keep her cool and brought 3 extra outfits just in case (one day I ended up using all 3 extras 😬). There are a good amount of rides that babies can go on too! If there is no height requirement then babies can go. I would usually nurse her on those kind of rides.
