Жыл бұрынDawn and Ray Simmons are the parents of nine children. Three of their nine children, Kamryn, Lindy and Christopher, died in a car accident when hit by a drunk driver. Dawn survived the accident, as well as Christopher's girlfriend, Marissa. Dawn and her daughter, Katie DeRouen, have made it their mission to bring awareness to the devastation and ripple effect of drunk driving and to honor the memories of all three children. This is part one of a two-part interview.

This Family is beyond strong! I've been sharing their impact with others in hope to make a difference with precious lives. This Family sure is meaningful to the core. Big huge Hugs to all of them!!💜💙💜

I knew a person that did that. Drinking and drinking with his children in the back. When I saw him I insisted on driving. I never drank. When away from him he did the above. I spoke to him and said you are not getting in my car because of his drinking. Your babies will never be forgotten. Such beautiful children. RIP to your children. And your mum and Sister I send you both love. Please please do not Drink and Drive xxx

We were hit by a drunk driver in 1978, my sister & i was in the car with our downstairs nieghbor. The man hit us head on
