Hi mate..I only discovered your channel a month ago. I absolutely love what your doing,its my new addiction. Never been in an English jail,but been in a few in Scotland and Lanzarote lol...got into a fight in Fuerteventura,there's no prison there,so onto ferry and over to Lanzagrote 😃 Not done a sentence for five years now and I 🙏 I'm finished with them.! As long as I don't lift a drink,I give myself a good chance of it. Love what your doing,its great to see someone turn their live around like you have ma man. I'm from Canada, living in a city surrounded with multiple ++ Penitentiaries! You might be aware of the 2 oldest ones. Both were Max security, built in the 1800's. The men's Penitentiary was closed after the most notorious inmates were housed. The woman's max security was right across the street, seeing the closure 2 yrs before the men's. We have 3 max, 2 minimum & 1, which is for both, sentenced too 2yr less a day. All are within the Eastern part of Ontario. Woman & men's closures were all moved too newly built Penitentiarys. The men's max Penn is now used for visitors, due too it's notoriety of the Penn & person's housed there.

Loving the channel, It's interesting getting the story on what actually goes on inside. My only hope is that Iain Huntley gets what he deserves, for what he did to Holly Mills and Jessica Chapman. My daughter's were small, when the media were reporting big style on this, it put a fear around them. They asked if that could happen to them, and I've never lied to them, so I had to tell them the truth but dumb it down for their age group for them to understand. They still mention it to this day, and there in their early 30s. Again thank you for doing this channel. You keep it real and don't gloss it over like the media do. Your channel is one of the best channels out there tbh.

Gary deserved to be behind bars for the rest of his life for killing my dad Carl edon so because of him I’ve felt revenge and depression and my mum Michelle edon feels the same way, my name is Sophie edon the eldest daughter and my sister is Carla edon the youngest daughter incase you didn’t know about it since alot is never mentioned about what went on afterwards

Our laws are quite different here. The death sentence hasn't been in effect for many, many yrs, unlike our neighboring USA. But.....life means life. Usually they aren't given a parole date @ all!! Many of the woman inmates are aboriginal & outnumber the data still today. It's interesting too note, that one Maximum Security Penn was right in the middle of expensive homes & property. The back of it's emmence structure was one of the Great Lakes & hadn't seen any escapes since the 1930's & early 1940's....our City is used too all the Penn surrounding us & much smaller towns. Your podcasts are extremely well done & do hope the inmates here are able too have accessibility to them. They are only able too use computers in the Penn libraries & of course are strictly monitored. Thanku for being candid & the telling about life on the "inside".

Actually witnessed Gary almost kill a guy in woodhill gym in 2011, hit the guy with a 15kg dumbbell, opened the guy's head wide open, This was done just to get a move out the jail.

That £85,000 should be confiscated and either given to the victims families or donated to a charity of some kind, it's totally disgraceful and shocking that that kind of thing is allowed seeing as though the whole point of jail is to strip people of their basic rights. 🙄

Listening to this made me think of Robert Maudsley. Why? He's in total isolation in Wakefield prison as he isn't able to mix with other prisoners. So if Vintner is likely to attack other prisoners, shouldn't he be in isolation like Maudsley? Loving your video content Ricky 👍🤛
