if you want to find drag force means you select x axis not y axis because in your model the flow of fluid moving in x axis only . but why you select y axis i think if need lift force means select y axis . my statements was wrong means kindly clarify the doubts

This video about drag is wrong!!! You will use the force in y coordinate for lift!!! You will use the x force for drag!!!

Hi why did you use the Global Goal for Y axis?, why not X axis, I mean the Bus is going against the X global axis..Thanks

To calculate drag force we should use it, research more about it you will get to why we do it

You are correct. He has done the mistake. Cd will include X force & frontal area.

For Cd you need the x axis for Cl you need the y direction. It also depends on the orientation of your model on the coordinate system. I tried this on wings using Xplane, solid works simulation,solving with pen and paper, all results were consistent.
