Light strips help take your home to the next level. I’ll show you some unexpected spots for light strips that can brighten your home. I will also show how I used light strip channel systems to really improve my setup. Whether you are just getting started or already have LEDs everywhere, this video will give you some helpful light strip ideas.

Channel Covers:
1 meter flat channel cover amzn.to/2zeTYaA
Flat channel cover connectors: amzn.to/2MBsCON
2 meter flat channel cover amzn.to/2XBPy6Y
2 meter corner channel covers: amzn.to/2Y6RcN1
Light Strips:
These are what I used behind the piano and on the bathroom mirror. They are 5 meters so keep that in mind if you are getting them for the channel covers because you will have to connect multiple to fit them.

Below are smart light strips that come in 2 meters which will fit the 2 meter channel covers well.

I was concerned about using led strips with diffusers because I rent my apartment and was mainly considering putting them around the ceiling by the crown molding (via 3M tape); but I never thought of the baseboard idea. Much less prone to falling down / coming out of place. I think I will give that a go! I also really like the couch idea for movies. Thanks a lot man!

Great job. I think LEDs facing outward on the mirror would look nicer, even with the diffused housing. Great vid! I recently put a vertical strip in a corner, but mounted onto a 20mm wide flat aluminium bar I had lying around, and faced it into the corner so its floating, about 20mm away from the wall. The light spills onto the corner and is diffused, just like in the your 2nd example with acoustic panels. I much prefer it this way compared to facing into the room where you can see the face of the chanel, the light spill is much nicer when bounced of walls in my opinion. Love your videos, thanks so mcuh for sharing!
