Lightning Followed by a Sonic Boom

11 ай бұрынAnother round of severe thunderstorms moved across the Denver Front Range, so we grabbed our camera a pointed into the night sky. This time we caught something we've never heard before, a sonic boom associated with lightning and a huge clap of thunder.

Thunder is always so deafening in the outdoors. The Thunder in the mountains always seems to echo on and on as it passes down to the valley.

No doubt. It has been a very active season so far. We're looking forward to hiking in the fall when it's much calmer 😎🐾

We r hoping to have some time off around Labor Day to get back out there this year. We went to Wyoming this summer and backpacked in the Tetons and Yellowstone. But I miss the CT so hopefully soon!!

WY is still on our radar, so close to us, and yet we've yet to get up there. We're definitely afraid of the mosquitoes we've seen on other videos from up there!

@@MADHippiesLife u know it wasn’t as bad as I was expecting for sure. Some places were but overall not bad at all. The views make up for it lol. Highly recommend the the hike to lake solitude and a hike up in the Lamar Valley in Yellowstone called the slough creek trail. We saw bear on both and they were amazing for sure.
