It doesn't take much debate for us to get out of town and head to the mountains when it is in the 90s in Denver. This trip, a definite yes, it was nearing 100 and we were in need of some relaxation from all the business of home repairs from the hailstorm we had a few months ago. With new gear in tow and a desire to relax in the cool mountain air, we headed up to Geneva Creek (10,000') just below Guanella Pass and Mt Bierstadt (14,000').
