The front is the best on this imo which is unlike most RMC’s, also just wait until it’s like 80° out it absolutely flies.

For sure is. And with its new chain lifts I believe its uptime went from 63% to 98%, so it’s basically guaranteed to be running!

It’s around the same speed, maybe a bit slower but I’m not entirely sure. I haven’t been on El Toro in a while.

Dollywood should NOT have contended with RMC's suggestion for a more expensive but better suited launch company because they've paid 5 times the amount they baulked at and have presented this ride as an unreliable destination coaster with dubious reliability. Had they went with the original suggestion... RMC is already THE CHEAPEST and most Walmart brand. If they suggest a costly launch system, as hungry as they are at cutting cost, DO IT

If Lightning Rod had reliable launch from the start people would definitely be more enthusiastic about the ride.

Been disappointed in this ride several times with it being down and it's just not that impressive.if they would have went with a hybrid like steel vengance or twisted timbers it would have been a far better ride.

It’s partially a hybrid IBox now, but if they went with the hybrid originally instead of the wood it may have made it more reliable.
