We need a tutorial on the 1073 pre! I currently use the Manley vox box to track and add the 737 after it’s processed Into the daw. I want to start tracking with the 1073 and processing after with 737/ CL1B comp

There are a few different folks scattered around Germany, Sweden & Denmark who are offering epic compressors and other high end analog gear. But I warn you all these types default to engineering speak the minute you get them started and it will be like talking with an alien if you are not prepared. It’s funny how people think UAD is some great tech, RME smokes them in every way. If you would like pro sound go with RME UAD like paying twice as much for half the usability

TLM 103 plosives galore. Terrible microphone. But with tons of processing you can make anything sound better. Take the U87AI over it any day of the week. Neumann has a habit of charging crazy prices on stripped down high end models like the U87. Like the TLM 103. Now transformer etc.
