And after Lisa danced to that song, the song blew up, everyone started listening to it. In the BP Netflix documentary, they said Lisa choreographed the dances every week for their group for 5 years. However, after their debut, they are not allowed to choreograph their own dances, thus other choreographers have done so. For the LiLi Flims, Chesir Ha choreographed the dances; she is Lisa's close friend, and Lisa wanted to dance to her choreography.

I believe someone else already pointed out that the dancers in #4 are all professional choreographers and dancers that dance for a living. The important thing to understand here is that Lisa is dancing at the same high level as these trained professionals. Time and time again she has demonstrated this ability. A similar dynamic is true at the BP concerts. All the folks on stage dancing are part of various professional dance troupes and the impressive BP girls...especially Lisa...keep up with them, not the other way around. The dancers dance really well. The BP girls dance, sing, and engage the audience at a very high level.

All her years of dancing show as she watches about seven people dancing all at once and, damn, she catches the smallest mistake and isn't afraid to chew them out if it doesn't look like they're trying their best. Behind that gorgeous smile is a very tough lady...

Cheshir Ha, the lady who was dancing in Lilifilm #4 with Lisa, is the only Blackpink choreographer whose name I'm familiar with, but there have been others. (I remember a video of the members talking about someone they called "potato teacher" that they thought pushed them pretty hard, but they seemed to appreciate that she did, rather than objecting to it. They ALL seem to have a strong work ethic!) There is also a dance practice video in which Cheshir Ha works with Lisa, helping her to sharpen up some new choreography, and it's a good example of how long and how hard they all go to reach the level of perfection we get to see. (Oh, and it also lets us see how exhausted they can be afterward!)

You can also check out YGX lisa "i like it" video and other YGX lisa videos Lisa also helped students in a program as a mentor teacher (youth with you = program name) and some students have even debuted in different groups thanks to her. The #3 dance video went viral around the world when it came out...especially when celebrities and other people started a big trend of doing photoshop edits where they used Lisa's legs as their legs and captioned it "# Does it work?" Talk show hosts, movie stars, singers (including Dolly Parton) tried it out. Famous characters from movies and TV shows were brought into it too, like Spock (of Star Trek) having Lisa's legs and Spiderman. Lisa once joked that it was only her legs that became famous from that video. About the "back-up" dancers, in "The Movie" all of the back-up dancers are highly-rated, well-known top choreographers in Korea, including Cheshir Ha (Lisa's long-time friend, mentor and choreographer) and Bada Lee (who does choreography for several top Kpop groups and artists). Cheshir Ha is also the woman who dances with Lisa in #4.

Lili's film is Lisa's personal channel. Each member of Blackpink has her own channel. The lady in #4, Cheshir Ha, is the master and the choreographer. The Movie, I used to see somewhere was about Lisa found out the group she associated with had a plan to betray her so she had cooperated with the card dealer to silence them. The song by Destiny Roger, there was an interview that she had 2 months to servive with her financial but the Movie came out and her song got a huge hit. She was really greatful to Lisa. It’s funny that even though dance was never my focus, I started recognizing some individual backup dancers behind various groups. And I came to know choreographers Gabee and Leejung through variety shows first. Lisa seems to be widely accepted as being at the very top though.

The 3rd film has always been a FAN FAVORITE. Also, fun fact: the song she used for "THE MOVIE" film is sang by Destiny Rogers who was a small American artist (really known by more locals based in Cali). However, when Lisa danced to her song, Destiny revealed that Lisa actually saved her career. Destiny revealed in an interview with Eric Nam how Lisa's cover of "Tomboy" really helped her financially and impacted her music by bringing in THOUSANDS of streamers she never had before. It's funny though bc Destiny did not even know who Lisa was before her cover of Tomboy (and her friends FT'd her like omg lisa is dancing to TB) but yea it blew up . Destiny has become another big supporter and appreciator of Lisa. They are great friends now and Destiny even went to BP's Born Pink concert in LA, and met up with Lisa and they took pictures together. Also, they have hung out a few times too. I just figured I share this story because not only did Lisa change someone's life but someone benefitted from Lisa covering their song and was glad enough to express their story about how many ways their life has changed bc of it. IIRC, you haven't reacted to "Shoong!" yet. Just something to put on your list for a possible future reaction. It's a really fun song that features Lisa (dancing and singing/rapping). The main artist is Taeyang. The interactive dancing between Taeyang and Lisa is really good, and the other parts of the song also feature several famous dancers as back-up dancers. (Taeyang was a member of the group "Big Bang" (also under YG Entertainment)...a boy group that dominated Kpop for most of the period between 2007 ~ 2015. Taeyang sat in on a performance by Lisa when she arrived at YGE as a trainee candidate and was introduced to many of the top people at the company. According to Taeyang, he told the top boss that he was sure that Lisa was going to be a huge star.)

You guys were wandering if Lisa does her own choreography- while she didn't choreograph the lilifilms, she does know how to choreograph! A great example of her choreography is her dance preformance to "I like it" with X academy on the YGX channle- she choreographed the entire dance (within about 10 minutes if I remember correctly). most people forget. and i guess you guys did also. Lisa is not a dancer. she is a KPOP Artist. which can dance and sing and rap. while the back up dancers you keep referring too, are more than back up dancers. many of the dancers are employed by YG and in the group YGX They are not back up dancers, they are professional dancers. Many artist use back up dancers to enhance the program, while Lisa leads the dancers, as her skills are equal if not better than most professional dancers.
