For those that don’t know: the face on the wishing well can give you some insight into what mood the well is in! The better it’s mood, the more likely a good outcome is. Grim reaper face is high risk of the worst outcome.

Love this! You try selling sea shells on one of the island from Island Living as a get rich quick. You can sell them from the selling table. I think you can also snorkel and dive for shells.

The well is incredibly useful for bringing ghosts back to life, they can wish for life. Sometimes it takes a few tries but it’s DEFINITELY quicker and easier than ambrosia

This has inspired me to use this as the gimmick for a legacy challenge! Spin a wheel of which option to wish for, maybe once an in-game week? Maybe you could also spin for how much to offer the well before wishing? Anyways, I’m off to game 😋

Hey i wanted to give you a tip about those random column's in the fence. To get rid of those random columns you just drag a wall from the column to the house and then delete the wall it should erase that random column. Please try it out I'm curious to see if it's gonna work bc it did for me.

I always have a handful of wishing wells in my saves, I don't use them often but I love the idea of them. In my current save, current Gen, it gave me a ghost child! She eventually used a different well and it made her human. Really enjoyed that storyline alot.

I wonder if the wish-granting happens based on how many Simoleons you have? Like because you had one simoleon to start with, and gave 100% of that to the well, it considered that an excellent sacrifice. Whereas if you can afford 1000 simoleons, but only offer 100, the well is offended because it knows you can afford more?

I love the wishing well, first game I played with it I got a ghost girlfriend and was able to bring her back to life all with the wishing well. Then my main sim ended up dying (because of the wishing well) and her now wife had to bring her back (again with the well)

Kayla!! You should try a challenge where you use enough money to where Stanley can rent somewhere in selvadorada and then set his money to zero. While staying there, he has to do all he can to make money (raiding temples for treasure, the archeological skill, and collectibles) to be able to extend his vacation. It would be a cool “seeing how long you can live off the land to stay in Selvadorada!” Idk I think this would be really cool! :)))

Kayla, I don't know if you know, but the face on the well reflects its mood. The moment it took all of your simoleons and lit your sim on fire, it looked like a grim reaper. If it is happy, you're more likely to get something good!

did kayla just do a wishing well challenge without acknowledging the fact that that well TELLS YOU when it’s in a good mood or not

I have the wishing well and it's fun to play with. The face determines the odds of a good or bad outcome, not the offerings. The offerings change the face. $5k to the well won't do anything if he's already smiling. He has 4 faces, so a lot of money is needed to improve odds from the hooded figure. You have to give 3 offerings of $5k each to guarantee a smiling face at that point. It's hard to make money with it due to that and the sims also have to buy it for over $7k to start with. It is useful if you have a lot of simoleons and want to bring a ghost back without searching for ambrosia ingredients.

I don't know if you've done it before, but if not, please make a Stanley-themed house with the money he earned. It'd be great

I had an Idea for a video for Stanley. I been playing a challenge in Sulani and you can comb for treasure or dirt in the sand and find a bunch of goodies or even dive for treasure from the buoy.

I think the strategy is probably once you get enough simoleons buy a vault and store your money there so it can't be burned up

okay hear me out. A family from the Simsie Save that's so fancy and snob and very Landgraab-like you know? And they live in a mansion and have all this expensive stuff, but they start with 0 simoleons because they're greedy and wanted more and the wishing well in their backyard took all their money. Everybody hates them and have no friends, so now they have to pretend they're rich like they used to be but maybe they're starting low paying jobs to accommodate. Also, their house maybe has some very obvious missing furniture/art pieces to give away the fact that they sold some stuff to pay the most recent bills they had

Ngl Gunter is so adorable and precious. And I love his whole family. My sim married him and they had 5 daughters (2 sets of twins) and only 1 son. And my sim is bff with Wolfgang. And when my oldest daughter grows up I'll get her together with Alex (my sims are also very close with the Goths)

If you have Charisma at least on level 7 you can ask a friendly Sim to loan you a small amount of money (500 Simoleons) and from level 9 you can ask for a big loan instead (2000 Simoleons).
