I'm crying, I didn't even think about Lily going through puberty with two dads, I assumed this would be a thing either Claire or Gloria would have to handle (more likely Claire because she already taught Haley and then Alex). And another fun fact, homosexuality was never mentioned in the Bible, the one verse that people misuse daily was referring to pedophilia. Loving someone who’s the same gender was and never will be a sin in the first place so don’t you dare use a religion to justify non-acceptance, please and thank you :) (David and Jonathan ((son of Saul)) were in a romantic relationship while he was king, literally why does no one talk about that)

This is so nice. My mother told me nothing & provided me with no supplies to handle my periods. I'd just stuff random stuff in there to stop from bleeding into my clothes. Finally I learned to make pad out of old clothes and made two. I'd use one for whole day then next day wash it and use another. One day some people from one of Sanitary pad company came at school to educate us about period stuff and at the end they gave us 4 pads each. That was the first time I used a pad and realized periods doesn't have to be that horrible experience. Lilly is lucky. 💕

the most beautiful moment for me is, at the end of such heartwarming speech , lily opens the door and leaves it alittle bit, not completely wide open.. I love that they didn't make this scene more tv material with the cheesy hug at the end by lily or more fluffy with them all being comfortable and okay with the situation all suddenly... instead with they've gone with in this scene, it gives more meaning to the scene... Lily is not completely open and ready to move on further from this moment, but she heard her dads and by the act of opening the door and leave at it, she shows them they're heard and she's willing to open herself to the idea of figuring this out together alittle by alittle...

@vantata399 No I think theyvmean out of the parent- child relationships. When the show started going through seasonal rot in later seasons they made Mitch and Cam get more immature: they literally say that they are basically tween girls and Lilly was often portrait as being the one to take a more adult role in the three of themselves relationship. So scenes like this one, where Lilly acts like a kid and Mitch and Cam guide her as parents, are fewer and nice to see.

My parents divorced before that happened to me. When I was around 11, my dad told my brother to go make a small errand for him, and when he was gone, he told me he had bought some pads and painkillers, and where he had put them. His apartment was very small, and he didn't want my older brother to interfiere in the conversation, that's why he sent him away 😂 My dad made a million mistakes as a parent, and caused me a lot of pain when I was a small kid, but I remember that day fondly cause that was the day he actually started being my dad, and after lots of therapy and forgiveness, we finally have a good relationship ✨

My mom somehow couldn't explain it to me so my dad talked to me about periods. being very open and comfortable and he saw his own mother and sister going through terrible cramps and fainting and migraines so he was very understanding and nice. I'll always be grateful. It shouldn't be hard for father's and daughter having such discussions
