This is so nice. My mother told me nothing & provided me with no supplies to handle my periods. I'd just stuff random stuff in there to stop from bleeding into my clothes. Finally I learned to make pad out of old clothes and made two. I'd use one for whole day then next day wash it and use another. One day some people from one of Sanitary pad company came at school to educate us about period stuff and at the end they gave us 4 pads each. That was the first time I used a pad and realized periods doesn't have to be that horrible experience. Lilly is lucky. 💕

the most beautiful moment for me is, at the end of such heartwarming speech , lily opens the door and leaves it alittle bit, not completely wide open.. I love that they didn't make this scene more tv material with the cheesy hug at the end by lily or more fluffy with them all being comfortable and okay with the situation all suddenly... instead with they've gone with in this scene, it gives more meaning to the scene... Lily is not completely open and ready to move on further from this moment, but she heard her dads and by the act of opening the door and leave at it, she shows them they're heard and she's willing to open herself to the idea of figuring this out together alittle by alittle...

@vantata399 No I think theyvmean out of the parent- child relationships. When the show started going through seasonal rot in later seasons they made Mitch and Cam get more immature: they literally say that they are basically tween girls and Lilly was often portrait as being the one to take a more adult role in the three of themselves relationship. So scenes like this one, where Lilly acts like a kid and Mitch and Cam guide her as parents, are fewer and nice to see.

Lily Aldrin same! I didn’t know what was happening even though I knew what a period was. Thankfully I didn’t bleed through anything. 😅

@@dani-xw3lc how old were you in the seventh grade. Just trying to figure out if I started late. I was in 8th grade but only 13. I went to school a year before anyone else.

My first period, my mom let me stay home from school. Even though it was light spotting and no cramps. It was a girls day.

This episode is really memorable for me because the morning I watched this episode, that day at school I got my first period. It was a funny coincidence and when I got home no one was there (I’m a youngest child). But now it is an important piece of my childhood 🙂

i reeeealy didnt think my eyes was going to be wet at the end.. But there is just something, when you have grown up, and watched someone over and over and over for so many years, it does something with you. #Weraretrumodernfan
