I hate when people say oh this is not Limp Bizkit, just because 1 or 2 songs on a new album doesn't sound the same that doesn't mean they are not Limp Bizkit, and anyway bands don't have to stay the same, they can experiment new sound if they wanted to.

If it's not Nu-Metal then what are they doing? They had something with Chocolate Starfish and Results May Vary. I don't like most of the songs on these other albums. They just are not as good as Linkin Park, POD, DBA, I See Stars, RED, Trapt, and even Breaking Benjamin.

One comment said here, that they were under some kind of label, that is producing digital, autotune music, so nope, this is not matured, when an label is telling you what to do. ;-)

@@jackcravford8744 their experimenting with different sounds and that's a good thing. If you always sound the same people will get bored with it. Not saying this is limp bizkit's best style but I have a lot of respect for people to step out and dare to try something different. At the end of the day all of us fans will always say that their original sound is the best, but there's no way you can hate on the song and the message it portrays

@@jayykayy3590 man, there is no band behind this song, i don´t know how to tell you. real drums are missing, bass is missing, great guitar work is missing. there is only fred with autotune. there is no band behind this song, every sound here is sampled or from computer. EVERYONE is doing that in these days, it is the cheapest way. expanding your own sound as a band means, that the whole band will be playing on their instruments, doing something new. and yes, there is a way, where i can dislike this song. just because you said i can´t, does not mean, that it will work that way. i can have my opinion and i would even say, that it is constructive. like i said, they were signed under some kind of label, that is producing music like this - that means, that the label said what they should do. they were not expanding their own sound ,but doing what the label is producing.

@@jackcravford8744 You can dislike this song, I'm the last who would say different. I'm also really needed to get used to this sound because I was much more into metal then hip hop but I also grew up with hip hop so I gave it a few more trys. I think Borland's short guitar solo fits in but I understand your point very, very good. Maybe you need to know (to understand this situation a little better) that Fred Durst & Lil Wayne (who owns the Label Cash Money Records) are became best friends and they build this great relationship while skating together and exchanging music. Lil Wayne even tried himself with some "Rock" but it was a mess (atleast from my point of view). But I loved the fact that they try to find new ways and make music that THEY like. Wes Borland has great other Bands you can look into if you don't like this. Big Dump Face and Black light Burns are cool, too. Peace and have a nice day

This song is still so frickin good. I almost forgot about it until I was reading their subreddit. I know everyone wants something different from them but then need to get together as a band and figure out what makes them happy. We had 3 Dollar Bill pt 2. That was The Unquestionable Truth (which never got a sequel like it was supposed to). It's clear that they don't feel those songs as well as they feel something like this. This was real. It's almost as good Boiler but a bit more polished and all of that RMV stuff that was polished and the b-sides... They're all good. They're all Bizkit. Even the weird "Everything" was all over the place in all of the best ways. The interludes have always been different. The songs have always been different. Every song isn't for everyone. There are several people in the band. Some of them may even dislike a few songs but take the experience as a whole or don't take it. It's so easy to hate on a band that let's you, that feed's into it but it's so hard not to hate a band who takes so many risks and are versatile. The problem is that most people aren't versatile. They're not as open minded as these beautiful musicians. They can't accept how different one song can be to the next. Stuck is one of my favorite songs. So is Walking Away. So is "Let Go". So is Don't Go Off Wandering. So is Lightz. They're all over the place and I've supported this band since I first heard them back when they only had 1 record but were getting counterfeit and sour played. When Faith came out it was over for me as a teenage boy. I knew this band was so different and that was a breath of fresh air because I'm different too. I haven't had one kind of life where I follow a path set before me. Shit's been crazy. I've had good times and bad. I've been on top of the world and in the lowest of low's . This band has too. They were the biggest and most loved band in the world and the very next day they were the most hated band in the world. If you can't enjoy them without feeling a need to comment negative posts on every single one of their videos than you don't get it and you never will. You'll just always be angry for no reason because you don't and can't understand and aren't willing to accept it. If you want every song to be the same AC/DC is a great start. I love them. This is not that band. This is the most diverse band on the planet.

Yeah yeah, I know, "Mainstream Bizkit", "Hollywood Bizkit", "Rihanna Bizkit"... but I still love this, because they're being honest with what kind of music they want to make. So, does anyone ever go back to this video and wonder what happened to the album "Stampede of the Disco Elephants"? It was an album that the band teased on their social media back in like 2013/2014 and they started releasing singles, some were hit and miss. I really didn't like this song when it first came out, but as I got older and got into different genres, this song did grow on me. The band also released a cover of Thieves, by Ministry, Ready to Go with Lil Wayne (nah, not a fan of Wayne) and another song called Endless Slaughter, which felt unique to me because it was sort of like two songs in one. I know we got the surprising "Still Sucks" in 2021, and that had some badass songs on it like "Dirty Rotten Bizkit" etc but I would have loved to hear what that unreleased original album sounded like. Also, why the fuck do we not have an Unquestionable Truth Part 2?!

They tried something new here and you act like every other song they ever made was for nothing just because of this

@@mufradhossain9238 there is no nostalgic veil, sorry to burst your bubble. First time i've heard their first record is probably one year ago and it aged perfectly. Top notch production, phenomenal song writing, awesome and emotional vocals. The mixing is just insane, all instruments sounds authentic and the bass/drums on the album are beyond that. So for me, there is no nostalgic veil :) Just because they love the first record, that is from the past, does not mean that it is cause nostalgia. Example - if Ottos drums sounds REAL as fuck to this day, which is true (i played on drums, they sound realistic even today), that means, that they sound EVEN TODAY authentic. :D

@@mufradhossain9238 But this song is from 2013, i can say that people who likes this song cause some nostalgia from that year. That argument does not make sense. I love the album for the mixing and production, not for some kind of nostalgia. And i am not old, only 25 years lol. I think that is irelevant to the conversation. The first record is just beyond simple music, they are playing like a live band there, like in some kind of garage, it sounds enjoyable, emotional and unique. That is something i miss from this song. I MISS THE WHOLE BAND, there is no bass or real drums. Only autotune and plugins. And i love the first record not for "nu-metal", but it has really hardcore angle with those insane screams and mixing. I love punk, hardcore and authentic music, where i can hear the whole band. And other thing is, i don't want to be rude or anything, but you said "people like this cause nostalgia", but when someone said to you, that he has other reasons, you are like "i don't care for that", it sounds so ignorant. I just... don't get it.

Results May vary is my favorite Album and it has a lot of things that limp didn't do in the others Albums, is diferent but i love it, this is diferent but is pretty shit to limp bizkit, this song is for idk, someone who sings pop, i got to say that is not shit at all.

I don't think there is a "real" LB. They evolve and they change. Gold Cobra was pretty close to the old LB but I assume they want to do something new and creative again. So either they break up as a band or try something new together. What would be your preferred outcome?

The people who hate this are the same kind of people who hate Eminems new work. People you cant stay a cocky 20 year old forever. You need to grow up and mature and change. Thats why this song exists. Fred Durst is 44 years old this year, hes not a little boy hes getting old, and, just like Marshall, he is realizing this, and so his music is changing some, you need to stay with the times and with whats popular in order to stay relevant with industry, especially in a music label, if you dont like it, thats cool man, if you want something harder theres plenty of Music Videos from their heyday in the 90's-00's but I love Limp Bizkit and I love this song, and so long as there are fans like me, who love whatever they decide to do, because in the end its their choice what music they put out, this music will stay around.

Mature, good one. Have you listened to "Ready to go" or the last part of "Endless Slaughter"? How mature are those lyrics? Or the entire Gold Cobra, for that matter. His lyrics have always been quite dumb, but at least those songs had some good hardcore feel. But there's really no excuse for this pop crap.

Jakub Kaiser Hi Jakub Yes I have listened to every song that Limp Bizkit have put out [except for the 3 dolla billz yall album] and I can agree with you to a degree that music like this, rap/rock/hip hop music has never had super deep and stellar lyrics to them, no matter who the artist is, it tends to be driven by the artists ego or self image "i got a big dick and all the bitches love me" kind of music, which is certainly not bad, I love it. But when you say that there is no excuse for music like this it makes me believe you are under the delusion that Fred Durst NEEDS an excuse to make whatever music he wants to make. As I stated before, This song is about Maturing, about getting older, being an adult and being able to hit that deeper part of your soul and reflect on your life. We can't be angsty teenagers our entire lives.

Jaydn W Well, it's really not the lyrics that bothers me here - I already got used to him writing usually rather "simple" stuff, which he still does ("I ain't got another baby name I could use, maybe Tom Cruise":) and I'm really ok if he comes up with something a bit more serious. The problem here is how poppy and cheap this song is musically - the awful autotuned chorus which might as well come from some young pop female vocalist and the verses which sound like some shitty pseudo-rapper adding couple of lines to that female vocalist's song. They had some good ballads back in the day like Re-arranged, It'll be OK or Hold On, where you could hear Wes, John and Sam showing their skills and the vocals were much better too. Let them do what they want, but it's hard for me to respect a band that suddenly comes up with sth like this. It's not like they're having fun, like on Autotunage. Some try to justify it by saying that they had to record such a radio-friendly song after signing with Cash Money, but if it's true, it donesn't speak very well of them either.
