They’ve released ultra bangers. But they are silly and unserious. Not jokes. And they were always like this. Plus you’re neglecting the fact that the narrative around LB was almost fascistic in how it was so tightly controlled. Social media in recent years has devalued the way we view things reported in the MSM, which has its ups and downs, but Limp Bizkit’s recent re-rise in popularity just so happens to be a factor in that devaluation. We were led to believe that Durst was just an immature douche until multiple interviews actually showed that he was just a normal awkward man with a silly sense of humor.

Don't expect the same kind of energy. It is more of a slightly laid-back version of their older selves now. I watched a full live concert video from this year and it just wasn't the same for me without that extra energy behind the music. It feels more like when artists are not giving it their all and just sort of playing through the show to get it done and collect their money. I am not saying that is their case, it is probably just because of them getting older and not having the same stamina or maybe don't have the motivation or drive to put in the same energy. Either way, it really sounds like crap to me when Fred sings Break Stuff and he doesn't sound the slightest bit angry.
