NEVER will there ever be a talent such as her. To me, she was the voice of my youth. I saw her in the late 60s in L.A. and fell in love with her... along with 30 million other guys!! She certainly didn’t deserve Parkinson's, but life is what it is. You have to play the cards you’ve been dealt. Love you, Linda

I will always thank Linda Ronstadt for helping her long time friend, the late, Great, Phoebe Snow push through the grief of loosing her daughter, Valerie Rose. We hope she is doing well now, at age 73, and we're sorry she's suffering from that awful neuro-degenerative disease, and we hope she can take some joy out of knowing the pleasure she gave us when she was able to sing her heart out! Many of us had/have every album Linda Ronstadt ever released. We remember and love her friends such as Jackson Brown, JD Souther, the Eagles, EmmyLou Harris, Crosby, Stills and Nash & CSN & Young, Neil Young, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and so many more great musicians that emerged from the L.A. & San Francisco music scenes in the 70s and 80s.

This was an excellent interview. So heartwarming to read all of your comments The fall of 2019 has been a Linda Ronstadt lovefest, what with the documentary released in Sept.(and debuting on TV on New Year's Day on CNN) and the Kennedy Center Honors in early December. Hope she has truly absorbed how the realization of her personal dream and ambitions contributed so much to the music world and our emotional lives. Her acceptance of her fate reminds me very much of how the delightful and delicious Teri Garr has dealt with multiple sclerosis. Both possess humility and humor in abundance. When I am feeling wistful and melancholy about Ms. Ronstadt's inability to sing or blue in general, I turn to her for comfort. My go-to songs are: -Too Old to Die Young from Adieu False Heart with Ann Savoy -All I Know recorded in 2010 with Jimmy Webb -When I Grow to Old to Dream from her appearance on the Muppet Show

For Linda Ronstadt, losing her gift and skill to sing must be like losing a loved one. Her enduring legacy as one of the greatest vocalists ever, is now complimented by her new battle to help find a cure for parkinsons. She turned a tragedy, into a cause to relieve suffering for others. That is something I think we could all aspire to. To turn a loss for yourself into a cause to better other people, is something that I truly admire about her. I wouldn't be surprised, that Linda's fight to promote awareness and fundraise to end parkinson's will be a legacy that rivals her musical career. She's a role model for us all, that if life throws you lemons, then make lemonade. Never let a loss destroy you, turn it into a cause to fight against so others don't suffer.

What a beautiful human being. My teenage years, my room was filled with posters of her. Her music was a huge part of my childhood. What a gift to the world this woman is. Happy birthday Linda. I hope you see this. My best to you. You not only have talent, but you've got guts and grace. PEACE to you.
