The International Tennis Federation is the world governing body of tennis.

Founded in 1913, its purpose is to ensure the long-term growth and sustainability of the sport, delivering tennis for future generations in association with its 210 member nations.

The ITF organises over 1,500 weeks of men’s, women’s and junior tournaments on the ITF World Tennis Tour, and also manages the ITF junior team competitions, ITF Beach Tennis Tour, UNIQLO Wheelchair Tennis Tour and the ITF Seniors Circuit.

The ITF is the owner and rightsholder of the two largest annual international team competitions in tennis, Davis Cup and Fed Cup by BNP Paribas, and manages the Olympic Tennis Event on behalf of the IOC.

Lindsay is an inspiration. So extremely humble in all her interviews. The purest striker of the ball (on both wings) to play women’s tennis. When you watch her play, she rarely tries to muscle the ball, she uses her natural stretch and perfect technique on that eastern FH grip. Her accuracy at the pace she would play is nearly unmatched, she and Venus are some the the few players that should have 8-10 slams. But they both played through an amazing era.

If I were teaching a kid, male or female, who to watch for the best technical stroke production in the history of the game, I would probably say “watch Davenport videos.” She’s forever an icon in the sport.

I like Lindsay so much..she is not only Great Champion and former world no.1 as wells..but also look at that videos..she is very humble..kinds..and also she has graet attitude and nice persons as wells..wowww..very polite as wells...i like her so muchhhh..

She was such a huge part of my tennis growing up. Her, and the Williams sisters . Sharapova was interesting to watch playing too, when she won Wimbledon. No one struck the ball like Lindsay. Her racquet made a sound just PING. In the center almost everytime. It was so beautiful. She still has it too, when she plays

Yes! I agree completely and every time I say that I wind up getting blasted. Lindsay hit such a hard flat heavy ball. No jumping in the air and screaming her head off. She was capable of overpowering anyone on any given day. If she was on, then you were losing.

Womens tennis has touched the rock bottom, mens tennis is the best ever with big three and plenty of promising new players.. Womens tennis you dont ever remmember the new champions.
