This has never been a hidden feature, but is definitely one that is not commonly used, or commonly known.

just got a second key reprogrammed at the stealership and immediately programmed our seat positions according to each key. thanks for the video instruction. you are a godsend-an angel of the m series! i’ve noticed, though, that these cars are very sometimey when it comes to recalling the sideview mirror positions. nonetheless, very happy to not have to press the “2” button every time i get into the car.

I lift using the differential. I rest it on the pinch welds under the rear doors, or thelse other points on the rear subframe. Watch this video to see how/where I do it - kzfaq.info/get/bejne/etNmns2FtLPDenk.html

Ed I know your the man when it comes to the M I’m having issues with my 06 it seems like I keep losing my memory seat info my steering wheel n driver seat won’t go back into memory position upon startup any ideas or tips for diagnosing

Has your battery been disconnected recently?

I'm trying to see if it's a sudden issue or had always been the case since the car was much newer.

Nope battery has not been disconnected I know one point I had a weird start up issue it happen once the car wouldn’t start with the push start button I just gave it some time and confirm the ikey was working and it started up first and only time that happen

On your m37x have u ever hear a ticking sound driver side at idle and low driving speed?

Although I don't have any V6s, none of my cars do that. It might help to post a video of the issue

Hey man my 07 m35 doesn't raise the steering wheel all the way on exit eventhough I have that option selected. Any ideas how to maybe do a reset?

Does the seat scoot back on exit? And does the steering wheel tilt normally when commanded to?

I found mine on eBay. I intend to eventually get rid of these wheels as I shall be going another direction with this car in the video.
