LinuxCNC charge pump and e-stop

Жыл бұрынA parallel port LinuxCNC machine might act erratically and dangerously during boot or software crashes if certain precautions are not taken; in this video I build a charge pump detector and ISO-standard-compliant e-stop module to make the machine more predictable and safer to use.

Your not going to have an overheating issue with those drivers butting up to each other?

Hey! You may be right - I've not noticed that yet but I'm not putting them under real load yet. It is getting quite cramped in that enclosure, though. One of the reasons I like having everything clip onto DIN rail is I can easily move things around later if I need to, I might end up with the drivers in a separate box eventually.
