Everyone likes to see the underdog win because of the position of the lion in the food chain but at least 40% of attacks fail and predators are the bad guys and not as if the buffalo dont cause any deaths themselves but thats nature for ya, amazing.

And Carnivorous creatures don’t kill for sport or money or sex like trifle interests, they kill just to live. So actually I am feeling for the Lion, he and his pride lions may have to go starving. Cubs may die, not getting enough milk. Its actually annoyingly dumb, inhuman to not to feel for the lion and to pray for the prey to be able to stay alive.

@@t4neem And the very same people live by eating. It's about time that we also pray that their food escape their mouths and stomachs. Worse, people can also hunt and kill for sport, which animals don't. I've seen many a time a pride of lions with full stomachs lying peacefully without bothering any other animal, even if the prey animals were grazing several meters away.

Great video and can learn a great lesson out of this. You can always vanquish your fiercest enemies, if you know how to play the right moves. What a brave buffalo this is. Sheer underdog, makes an escape from the brink of being devoured. Wow! we need to remind ourselves that there always is hope, even in the face of danger. I vouch for the underdog, so was very thrilled to see the buffalo escape.

I think you are mistaken. A brave bull would have initiated the attack, whereas a rank member of the herd would likely beat feet, and who's to blame them. Besides, a solitary lion is usually no match for a grown bull buffalo - even the baddest of lions can't overcome the weight advantage of the buffalo bull, and his tremendous strength. No, mano y mano, the advantage goes to the bull.

@@counterpoint6718 i've seen many vids of lone lionesses killing bull buffaloes so i can guarantee you that an adult male lion will definetely be able to overcome the huge weight advantage the buffalo has and either way it got enough strenght and killing instinct to kill it the young lion just needs to get some expirience in hunting and then its good to go stop underestimating lions ik its probably bc of google but still just stop and do some reaserch as lions are huge and powerful predators able to go toe to toe with even the largest of bull buffaloes and even win in a scenario!!! So im telling you to stop underestimating lions for your own good as if you keep up with that lion hating mentality of urs i'll assure you that you will get destroyed and heavily embarassed by a lion fan so just stop pls im trying to help you as i've seen it happen so many times!!!

First I was like 'oh no poor buffalo please win the fight!' Then I saw how skinny the lion is and I thought 'go on lion you'll catch it' and then I saw the buffalo running away and I was like ' go run away and safe your life!' Oh I can't decide...I love boths!

Only a lion dares to attack an animal 10 times heavier than him all by himself. I saw a video recently of a tiger taking to it's heel when an Indian buffalo just turned around.

Thank God that this buffalo was able to jump and shake off the lion. He almost got gored. You can tell that the lion knew he had a close call with being seriously injured.

yeah many have no clue that this lion was a young lion with little hunting experience who needs practice to be more successful in hunting. lions learn from their mothers how to hunt but to be really successful they have to learn patience, the right timing, some strategies.

That lion took a huge risk. It shouldn't attack the buffalo alone. Because that buffalo could do the lion injured. It's really very hard and almost impossible to survive in the wild with injury.

Video was quite shaky in the beginning but later became better.I guess the movement of the car and excitement of stumbling across a scene you had not prepared for amounted to that.This male lion unfortunately could not take down a full grown Buffalo on its own,If he had another male lion with him then it would have been possible or 2 to 3 lionesses to assist him.What happened eventually because you see the buffalo taking off!

I think there's too many people out there that'd be so opposed to that, it'd never happen. People like you and I, and probably a lot of these people watching these videos...the uproar would be so enormous it would not happen.
