I think its under restoration work of sorts. When it comes back on the line I really hope they put the whistle they used on 4449 from 1990 to 2012.

It’s in operable condition. It didn’t run last year due to the pandemic.

@@PereMarquette1223 Oh ok I thought it was under some sort of restoration work since couldn't find video of it in 2019. But I realize now it still runs during the Christmas season until now lol

Yes this engine does have the whistle steam smoke effect.

They are the Lionel 18" aluminum cars from the TMCC days when they originally did the daylight.

I wish Southern Pacific 4449 was retired again and scrapped.
