2014's World Cup Messi was in his best form throughout his career, and in this tournament, he displayed not only crazy durability but also his out-of-this-world playmaking and passing ability. He single-handedly carried Argentina to the final with his skills and determination. Man was virtually at every hotspots on the field, creating chances and controlling the pace. I just wish to had been present there to witness the God of Football. 😊😊

Igree except he was not in his best form here. Actually far from it. After his injury 2013, it took almost a year for him to return to his to his best form. Between 2009 to 2019, spring of 2014 may have been his worst form. But that just make his world cup performance more impressive

En eso tienes razón, también creo que tuvo que hacerlo por el desgaste que hacía, el empezó a saber cuánto correr para no cansarse. Sobre sus compañeros en 2014, ps tienen sus razones para no confiar tanto, literalmente mira los pases que le devolvían a Messi, tenía que correr para alcanzarlos, mientras que en 2022 ps todo el equipo tuvo pases precisos, bueno, más los pases de Messi que fueron una joya. 👌

@@dariog.c.2776eso equipo del 2014 se creían todos estrellas y no hacían una jugada como el del 2022. El equipo que ganó el mundial jugó para Messi. También en el 2014 loa delanteros eran muy malos, la final con mejores delanteros se ganaba. Alemania no llegó nunca .Salvo el gol y algún otra que creo que dio en el palo.

He just wasn't as good as playmaker in 2014 as he is in his later years, started from 2017 he became a much better playmaker, but it only happened because Barcelona's lack of playmaker at that time, so he had to stepped up

let's not forget that we are now used to see messi palying in that position but back in 2014 he was not used to it and it wasn't his optimal one... he was lethal closer to the net but no one in argentina could deliver the ball to him so he ended up retrieving in the field do the dirty job... such a shame he was in a subpar team... no midfield... imagine if he had 2022 team throughout all his wcs... he would've won 3 wroldcups at least..

Ozil casi falla con el pase en profundidad a Hyguen, pero luego se le ocurrió la idea al obligar a Messi a driblar fuera del espacio.
