Met Lionel for the first time in Mont Tremblant 2015. They told his life story at the athletes supper and there wasn’t a dry eye in the building. So much respect for him.

What Jan did to elevate the competition of this sport, Lionel and Talbot have done to make it spectacle to the masses. There were no "training channels" before this one, and certainly none documenting athletes of Lionel's caliber. Even as a world medalist and veteran champion, Lionel has faithfully shared his story with us, allowing Talbot to capture the most stunning displays of humanity and passion the sport has ever seen. Such an accomplishment can only come from their vulnerability and sacrifice, to which the sport if Triathlon as a sport will be forever grateful. Thank you Lionel and Talbot ❤.

Thank you Lionel and Talbot, these videos have inspired me and so many others. It has shown us that it is normal to have up and downs. Resilience is the word that comes to my mind when i think about Lionel. Also, watching this top 15, after every single one i was like "THIS is my favorite highlight", then came the Kona highlight which was really nostalgic for some reason. And then Erin, we all know how important she is to you so this felt very special! Thank you for everything ❤

I follow LS since 2016. In this year, he won IM Arizona and finished with course record and sets a new IM world record. Since this time, he inspires me and give me good vibrations . With Talbot on his side, he became the best KZfaq Athlete. Still an athlete, not a KZfaqr for me! Thank you very much! Good luck for Kona this year! I’m looking forward to the next 6 years 😊. Anything Lionel Sanders, I have to stop and check it out. This guy is incredible. Pushes to the absolute max, brings himself to tears in a training session. Bad ass. You are awesome, Lionel. I've just discovered you recently while I was on here searching Ultra running and hybrid training. Hope to keep seeing new things from you. You are one of the athletes that has inspired me to start running, cycling, and swimming. Thank you for your bad ass inspiration.

Wow, truly one of the most unique and authentic sport KZfaq channel out there. I think that beyond the results of Lionel, it’s really the motivational side and the realness of the videos that makes them so great and so fun to watch. Up, down, joy, angriness that’s really what’s endurance sport is all about. Thanks for the motivation, even tho I’m not a triathlete myself, I think these videos are a source of motivation whether your into the sport or not -Big fan from Quebec City Canada since 2018

So many great moments here but the one that hit me was 16:11 in, with Lionel and Erin striding towards the start line. Any one who tries to achieve anything knows how much it means to have someone beside you every step of the way. The sheer purpose in Erin’s stride must fill Lionel with courage and belief. #5 while training for Mont Tremblant is still my favorite - the whole “you might puke, you might have a heart attack” then the challenge of him trying to see if the mind or body is stronger - still motivating to this day

Just when my nagging injuries ( and Age) had me thinking it was time to step away from Running and Triathlon, I came across Lionel's KZfaq channel. These videos have recharged my batteries like never before. I've watched every single video and got my ass back in the game. My son (13 at the time) and I had the pleasure of meeting Lionel at the Collins Cup. Although he is maddening to follow at times (my son and I often joke, "ok no more rookie mistakes") His sincerity and genuineness and just being such a great guy is so evident. I wish him and his family much health and happiness and more great tri memories

So glad the crying in the pave cave made it. Its what got me hooked on Lionel's videos and havent missed one since. But not only how I got into Lionel's videos but also triathlon. Seeing how far someone can push themselves led me down a path of pushing myself and I love it. So massive thanks to you Lionel and Talbot for all these years. Here's to many more.

Didn't make the cut but for me it was the Arena Games Montreal. Everybody seems to have been laughing at Lionel because of his swimming skills compared to those ultra short distance guys, his weight cutting beforehand,... Nobody was laughing then when he put on a show on the bike and plowed through the whole field leading that race for a while. True grit against all odds

Yeah, I voted for the Windsor Road sign. I've now found out from my (Canadian) wife that back in the day ... taking road signs after a big night out was actually a thing! I didn't know that😄😄
