our oldest dog passed away in august and we are still finding little clumps of hair tucked away behind some of our furniture. 😂 just a sweet reminder of her. ❤❤❤

Happened to us with our cat. He passed in the summer and when i took out my winter clothes later that year i kept seeing his orange fur all the time. Was sad at first, but then it was just a happy reminder of good memories 🤗

Tbh thanks for uploading a vlog like this Carrie, it is almost a relief for me seeing other people struggling with everyday chores and that it is ok to not be able to do them sometimes. This gives me so much comfort and seriously reduced my anxiety so much. :)))

i saw someone else comment about this but you should def try out a more sustainable duster, like a reusable one you can throw in the wash or just use old rags!! switching to all washable cleaning stuff changed my lifeeee

i also second what someone else said about making that desk area a little vanity with a nice light up mirror! you could get a stool that can tuck under so it's not in the way.

For the hallway desk, how about good size mirror that you can lean against the wall. Might make the space feel brighter and bigger. Maybe a cute little vanity type stool to go underneath where a chair should be? Just for looks, not really for function. Or maybe a cork board instead of a mirror for cute little whatnots or phots you can pin up. Just a couple ideas! 💜

honestly if it were me, i would hang onto that handheld vacuum because you have already gone above and beyond to return their crap. it's their mistake, and they can work it out with the company when they don't get it. keep it in a closet and see if they stop by to ask about it. give it a month and then it's yours.

Have you considered trying any low waste/sustainable cleaning or household swaps? Would love to see more people giving product reviews on things that could make a big difference to even 1 person just learning about what's out there

Thank you for showing us the realities of pet hair in the home! We recently got a cat and I’ve been feeling bad about all the hair everywhere. As soon as I vacuum it’s back again! Good to know it’s a pet owner thing LOL

I'm very picky about the freshness of baked goods, so when I can't finish cookies from crumbl fast enough, I cut them into quarters, individually wrap them and freeze them. This way I can finish them over a couple of weeks, and don't feel like I have to overstuff myself with cookies or feel guilty about throwing them out

I'm so glad to hear I'm not the only one! I do this right when I bring home cookies from Crumbl, because they're so big and I will eat them til I pop if they're just out. I cut them in half and put them in a big zip top bag and pop them in the freezer separated by wax paper. Voila, surprise treats for later!

I write “return to shipper does not live here” on the package & put outside or give to delivery driver. I would definitely not take it to UPS/Fed Ex etc.

A couple of times I’ve gotten someone else’s Amazon package & I called Amazon. They let me keep the package & assured me they’d reissue the order or contact the person to correct the issue.

Can relate to the dog fluffs all over the house. We've got an Akita/Chow mix. I brush him almost every day, vacuum everyday yet there are still fluffs everywhere.

Dog hair tumble weeds! Most dog owners know what that is like! When we had two dogs it got so bad our cleaners (yes I have cleaners - it makes my marriage much better) said they had to charge extra to keep up.

The Crumbl sugar cookies are my favorite and the only one I buy when I go. I cut them in half and freeze them for a treat later. Sugar cookies were always a christmas treat in my house and so it's one of those things that feels like an instant hug I can have any time of year :)

Re: getting mail after the previous tenants have left - I saw some people commented to write "No longer at this address" and leave the mail out, but this is less effective for UPS/Fedex/etc since those carriers don't come every day. You can definitely do that, but I would call your landlord, and just let them know that you're going to leave their packages on the front step or something. That is NOT your responsibility, and yes, you've been going wayyyyyy above and beyond, girl!

crumbl changes their flavors weekly always, but typically always have their signature sugar cookie & chocolate chip cookie. sometimes they take those out for a week if they have a different kind of chocolate chip or sugar cookie flavor scheduled for a week, but typically that’s how it goes! every week is different.

I remember when crumbl cookie originally opened in utah in 2017 it was all the rage. Apparently it was one of the fastest growing companies (food wise). Over 600 stores across the US today. Our stores run out of cookies a lot here.

At this point just keep the packages. You have done more that enough to return them and informed the delivery places that those people no longer live there.
