The Kat Von D liquid lipstick in Santa Sangre is a lovely red! It stays on allll day through out all the oily foods or liquids. Though it is quite a bright red and so I normally pair it with an outfit with quite a bit of red in it to balance it out. (Luckily most of my jackets are obnoxiously red so I can wear it a lot.) 10/10 would recommend very good product.

My two absolute favorites red lipsticks are by MAC, one is Red Rock and the other is Russian red. They are matt, but don't dry the lips and last long. They're not smudge proof, or those that you need sandpaper to take off, but the best I've found. Also, try Lancome Poeme, they're on the pricier side, but totally worth the money. I have 2 of the pink shades and am obsessed with them.

I found your channel about an hour ago and you've already earned my subscription. Since drugstore brands seem to be a little more up your alley, I would suggest the L'Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte Liquid Lipstick (NOT the gloss) in "Matador", along with Maybelline's SuperStay Matte Ink in "Pioneer". Good luck on your hunt for the perfect red lipstick!

Suavacita also carries truly lovely liquid lipsticks, so if you're still wanting to experiment, that's a great option.

I suggest the Milani Liquid Lipstick in Striking!! It is my FAV red and I have been on the hunt for years!

Rachel, firstly, you look fabulous, hair and makeup on point! :) Also, I really LOVE The Balm Meet Matte Hughes Liquid Lipsticks, they are amazing, no transfer at all, very comfortable on the lips, they last for a very long time and the color range is great as well. You should definitely give them a try, I think you might like them. :)

I was using the same liquid lipstick as you but now I really love the Revlon Matte Balm lipsticks. I have Romantic which is a red and Elusive which is like a darkish warm pink

i dunno if you'll like the shade of red that they have, but peripera ink the velvets is a really amazing korean lip product. it lasts for centuries and their red shade is called 'sold out red'. PS: lovely video as always ^.^

I think you would really love the Sephora Cream Lip Stain (not an actually stain, more of a liquid lipstick) in 1 Always Red. It's my go-to long lasting red liquid lipstick, and yes while it is expensive AF, it's so worth it! 💄😍 Plus, it doesn't suddenly become transferable with the slightest touch of water aaaand it isn't rubbery either! 💋

I finally found my perfect red lipstick! It's the wet n wild liquid catsuit in missy and fierce! Application is awesome and lasts soooo long for me! And the color is brilliant! 💋💋💋💋💋

I know this was ages ago but loreal had a gorgeous blood red lipstick in gold silver cases and it also smelled amazing.

Have you tried Mac's Ruby Woo? It's a pretty true red and since it's matte it's pretty long lasting as well. Love your videos!

HAH! That SpongeBob clip licking his lips is immediately what I thought of and do for every lip product I try!! So glad you included it. So far the only lip stain my messy/lazy self can handle is Benetint. Tried Tony Moly and it left a weird lip liner effect after doing the lip licking test. Revlon balm stains (Romantic is my fave) is my go to tinted balm. Love your videos!

Rachel? I love the red lip and think it is so classic vintage but I am kind of reserved in my makeup choices. I'd love to see your thoughts on what colors might work. I though of getting a reddish nude like lip lingerie in exotic and that would be vintage but natural but I'm curious as to how you would approach it. (Also you drive me to Etsy looking for good vintage stuff. My newest purchase was a brown wool skirt.)

On the subject if the maybelline 24 hr lipstick i personally use "keep up the flame". And i leave it to dry down to a matte. I dont use the other end of the tube
