Let's not forget how sentimental you are about the feather duster :) Love the videos man keep it up. Inspired me to pick up the Harman Kardon 3490.

Good choice for the placement of your equipment. I deal with an open wall on one side too along with carpet, an eight person sectional, and numerous bookshelves in my listening space. I would love to have a dedicated listening space, even if it is at one end of a basement painted in avocado green. 😁 BTW, You should hit up the thrift shops and eBay and see if you can't find a non-working tyco trax to salvage a working drivetrain from.

Thanks for sharing the set up. Isn’t concrete walls and floors terrible for acoustics?

If left untreated like any other space its not great. The main loss is feel. You don't feel the music and bass as much through the floor etc. Its very dead space once treated which can be good or bad depending what you want the room to contribute to the experience. Its kinda like headphones, hearing bass and mid bass is great but being able to feel it adds a lot to the experience for me. I'd like to try a bass shaker attached to my chair that works along with my headphones, that could be fun.

@@iowaudioreviews the idea of adding a sub to headphones intrigues me. That would probably be the way I’d operate if I lived alone.
