As a big fan of Christopher Nolan and Architects i would like to take a comparison with that ! If you are seeing the trilogy with the Albums "Lost Forever/Lost Together" , "All Of Our Gods Have Abandonded Us" and "Holy Hell" as the full Dark-Knight-Trilogy where you have felt an arc of fear, chaos and pain there is no way you can top this trilogy as a full masterpiece, so you create an epic new take with a lot of new ways and possibilities for the future with "For Those That Wish To Exist" (or in the case of Nolan - "Interstellar" as the follow-up after the Dark-Knight-Trilogy) and time will tell if it is going to grow as a masterpiece or as a letdown in the career of Architects. IMO i like it and i will give it the time to grow on me !

I feel really big Parkway Drive influence in this album. Reverence had kinda the same epic vibe with riffs, sound and themes, if you listen to the last section of Chronos with orchestra you can clearly hear it. I don't know man. I think the album is a solid 6.5 out of 10 for me. I think it's really cool that they're experimenting a bit but I think songs like Demi-God, Little Wonder and Flight Without Feathers really didn't need to be there. I'll probably have to listen to it a few more times. Still, I think it's a shame that Sam didn't show so much of his emotional screams. But the lows in Discourse is Dead are completely cool. Actually Sams vocals in general are just perfect

Although I believe it to be weaker than the last 3 albums, this album was gold to me, strong 9/10 despite some songs blending together in parts but that’ll probably go away after further listens. Loved it.

I haven’t listened to the album yet, but I’m probably not going to enjoy much (or as much as previous albums) because I’m not a huge fan of the experimental stuff. But, I’ll give it a proper judge when I fully listen because I do enjoy Animals and Black Lungs.

@@c4gob00m Ah! What a pity. To a person who doesn't really like when the band constantly screams at you (like old-old Architects), this album was a masterpiece. But it all depends of course. 2 years ago I couldn't even imagine I would like metalcore. I used to listen something more like Powermetal etc. And now I really like Spiritbox as a band, metalcore as a genre. Will see. Maybe in 10 years I will hate this Architects' album :)

All their albums are awesome but I’d say my ranking is: 1) AOGHAU (my favourite album of all time ever since I first listened to it). 2) LF//LT 3) Either Daybreaker or FTTWTE I can’t decide 4) The one from above that wasn’t in third 5) Hollow Crown 6) Holy Hell 7) Ruin 7) The Here And Now 9) Nightmares (because Sam isn’t on it haha.)

I guess that they delivered generic-like songs before the album, which actually came out to be sexy as hell. The album itself contains lots of Architectish elements, though you can clearly see that they are changing their musical style. They simply didn't deliver it fast enough to sound garbage (Suicide Silence reference with the self titled, just to be clear).

Taking the singles in isolation was terrifying. Hearing the full album in context makes a lot more sense. I don’t like it anywhere near as much as previous albums overall but I have massive respect for the new things they tried on this. The record is stylistically balanced a lot better than I was afraid it would be so it’s all good. There’s some great moments and some bland, boring moments but it’s an interesting listen and the lyrics are very good.
