Six's betrayal is sort of justified. Six is a creature of vengeance. She was captured by the bullies, so she kills a bully. The doctor nearly killed her, so when you burn him, she warms herself up. Six was happy in the Hunter's cabin, she was happy just to be with her music box. Until you broke the door and took her away from it, then after that you brought her to the outside world where everything wants to kill the both of you. But over the course of your adventure, six forms a friendship with mono. She catches you when you fall and when mono releases the thin man, six doesn't run away, instead she tries to help you to get up. She only runs when you finally stood up. And when you hid, six was seen. She tries to reach out for you, she wants you to catch him the same way she catches you. And what do you do instead, you hide and you do nothing and six is taken away. And then, monster six. Despite being a monster, she was happy. She has her music box again. Shes back in her safe space. That is until, you guessed it, you broke down the door again. And despite you leaving six to be captured, six isn't angry at you. Instead, she offers you her music box, showing that she does see mono as her friend despite the fact you did nothing when she was captured. And what do you do, you destroy the music box. You destroyed six's offer of her friendship. But most importantly, you destroy her music box. You destroy six's safe place. Our nightmare might be when six drops us. But six's nightmare was when you broke down her door and took her away from her safe space. Six is mono's little nightmare. But mono is six's little nightmare.

Six: *Shares music box with mono* Mono: *Destroys it* Six: I offered you friendship, and you spat in my face.

I always thought Six was agressive towards Mono in her monster form because of the Signal Tower. But after playing the game and seeing things for myself, I realised Six wanted to show Mono her music box and she was never agressive until he destroyed it. She just wanted to protect the one thing that made her feel safe.

Later, Six, makes the correlation between Mono’s unnatural power and Hat Man’s. Are they one in the same? This is the internal conflict Six weighs as she holds Mono from the ledge. When Mono first found Six, she had already been captured, presumably mistreated, and neglected. You can tell by how she runs from Mono, he must gain her trust first. I find this part of the game was added purposely for Six’s character development. Naturally, this survivor trauma would make her think intellectually, not emotionally. Mono has already let her down once, whilst Hat Man was chasing her, a colossal betrayal, life threatening. She already gave Mono one chance, and Mono has shown her that when it comes down to it, it’s every man for himself. Six is a survivor, she doesn’t take the risk, she drops him off the edge. Mono is just a kid. You watch him turn into a teenager, and then a young adult. Betrayed and Isolated for so long, He turns into Hat Man, a monster. We See him as the vigilante, because we played him as the little boy. And That right there is the message. No one else sees the pain that turned him into a monster. But that was the battle for his own soul. It wasn’t about Six. The paradox is played out in the 1st little nightmares. It’s meant the be the next chapter. That’s why Six already has the raincoat. She becomes a bit more insane, eating raw meat, whole rats. More apathetic, eventually eating a nome, a whole living creature, each time she escapes another monster; eventually becoming one too. the lady I don’t myself believe in reincarnation, but philosophically it can be a beautiful message when you leave it as such. Will you let your battles turn you into a monster? Or will you let the painful experiences breed kindness ? forgiveness? understanding? art? Are you apart of the sickness of the cure? All six had to do to prevent mono from becoming the thin man was save him. They could have made it out together and been good. I can understand why she did it, you can see her hesitation before she finally lets go. I have a feeling theres going to be a battle in the third one where they fight in there boss forms.

I came here after watching Prod start his gameplay which is nicknamed "The Adventures of Squample and Ratslayer", and I gotta say Giant Six kinda reminds me of Vicar Amelia

Ok so Ik people say “how dare she” and stuff but also remember that she was warped from the tower the entire time they were fighting so maybe she was even more warped after that and that’s part of why she dropped him

Did Mono really do nothing when the Thin Man captured Six? Or was his close proximity causing Mono too much pain for him to try and help her? Also friendly reminder that when Mono sees Six inside a monitor he tries to get her out only for the Thin Man to capture her again. When at the last phase of this fight and Six was too weak to defend the music box, I did the worst thing imaginable and hit Six's hand. And I'm pretty sure she screamed and/or whimpered in pain. Eh, I guess she deserves that for dropping me
