Aww I was holding hope that he would make it out legit. I kind of thought of him being six's counterpart as in where she became the monster they where trying to escape, he would get with his humanity. He already did more good with the homes then six did. Instead all over are tears 😭💔😭.

The mirror was the same as the one in the comic, the one that makes you see yourself as something you aren't. She wasn't an old lady, the mirror just made her think she was.

I....I didn't even THINK about the Mistress being able to ACTUALLY turn children into gnomes. =o.o= Like, not even a little bit. AND NOW I'M REALLY SAD WE ATE THE KID WHO HELPED US IN THE BEGINNING!!!! But...well...I suppose it makes sense: realistically, there was no way he was getting off of the Maw: it's a floating/swimming island. It just sucks that he was...OK, I mean, it sucks that we ate ANY of them, given that we actually know they were actual factual children, but we had history with him. :/ So sad.

_Aww..._ I really liked seeing the runaway boy climb up the ladders & books, be so brave in avoiding the enemies, & hug the nomes as they helped him in the last DLC. I kinda suspected that there would be a sad ending for him, & hoped against hope he wouldn't become "that nome". I wished to see more of the Residence & the Lady but, in retrospect, I saw enough. The plot made sense, the characters made sense, & I enjoyed the whole adventure of the Maw. Good play through!

Same, Runaway Kid will always be my favorite. He was willing to do what he needed to for his survival, but was always kind whenever he could be, unlike Six. I also like the fact that, unlike Six, who had been free for however long she had been on the Maw, the Runaway Kid was a prisoner who decided he wanted something better for himself. He fought so hard and did all he could, but in the end, he was forced(and at such a young age) to learn the hardest truth of all; Sometimes, no matter how hard you try, your very best isn't enough.

at the very first dlc, when he awoke in the bed, I remembered that part when six opened that eye surveillance somesh*t and it showed those two beds that boy was on. It's amazing how you can walk through levels and you could understand that some changes were caused by six esp the lamp lights. When he turned into a gnome tho I thought maybe he was the gnome looking up to six when she walked out at the end but then manly found that sausage and I was like remembering that memorable gnome and damn that was him, tragic ending after all those struggles.

For some reason, I did not really see this coming - that the boy was going to become the Nome that is eaten. I do enjoy this game and series, and that ending leaves me feeling there will be more, and I want more. Keep up the fun, Manly. God bless yours and you!

That trap room where the ceiling slowly falls down if you remove the statue triggered in me a flashback to Resident Evil 1 where you need to replace the shotgun with a fake one in order to escape safely from the same kind of trap.

Also, as far I can remember from playing Resident Evil 1, you need the broken Shotgun to replace the other Shotgun, acting as a placeholder against the celling trap.

Umm let's rewind to the Prison chapter as Six, first chapter. The Runaway kid, couldn't have been the one who fed Six the food, in the lunchroom, because he is napping with the other children. That's why when you play his story, he wakes up from a nightmare of the Granny. Everyone thinks it's the runaway kid, but he can't be in two places at once unless the creators made that mistake. XD

Confirmation of two theories along with an ending a lot of people predicted... Manly's right about the first part of the DLC being the strongest, and I'd put this one as inferior to that but better than the second part. The Secrets of the Maw DLC do trip up in comparison to the main game, but I still quite enjoyed this. It's fairly priced to me, and it gave me more of a fun game.

Ok so I think I finally get the complete symbolism. The woman is getting older and is mad at the loss of her looks. She is incredibly vain. But ... why is she like that. I'm starting to wonder if the "building" the story takes place in is supposed to be representative of a geisha house or maybe a bathhouse/inn. And "the lady" is the original character's mother and mistress of the establishment. And the overall point is "we all become our parents in the end".

I don't think I've ever watched that many let's plays of the same game but here we are. Little Nightmares, one of my favorite franchises out there and a huge part of my life since it dropped. This is a great intro for an entire inspirational history of how Little Nightmares influenced my life but I'm sure no one here really cares about that so I'm just gonna stay with said statement. I kind of hate how obvious the ending was. People were predicting it months ago and seeing it in perspective... Yeah, it feels unsatisfying... Actually, to be fair, almost all of the DLC feels like a waste. The only 'Secret' was the Lady's face, while everything else was just, "Oh... That's something." Even the monsters felt more lazy than the ones in the base game. I feel like the whole thing was to try and get Little Nightmares back on the theory bait gravy train. So they could make sequels and sell comics, and get a big KZfaq fanbase... But I just couldn't imagine why I personally would ever come back. Compared to the base game, the DLC is just a bland excursion that tries to squeeze emotional value out of a rock.

Actually, the ending hit me hard on several levels. I can't explain why, but I never warmed to Six and didn't really care if she escaped or not. I did grow to care about the boy and while I knew he wasn't going to ride off into the sunset, I did hope for something bittersweet. This ending was upsetting, but I feel as angry as I am sad about his fate because I actually predicted this as a possible outcome once I'd played the previous DLC. If he'd died some other way I wouldn't be so annoyed. It feels lazy and cheap, somehow, as if his whole journey was ultimately to hit us harder over the nome eating scene. It's almost as if Tarsier is using the fan theories for their story. Unlikely, but that's how it feels. Contrived. Horrible death of a character I'd grown to like (Classic Horror 101) aside, even though I enjoyed the DLC - well, most of it - I do absolutely agree that it feels like the start of a gravy train. Tarsier made an intriguing main campaign, and after getting all the feedback, have seen an opportunity to start a franchise. Well, they need one after the underwhelming response to LBP3. Actually, the only real surprise in the DLC for me was the true identity of the nomes and the appearance of the shadow kids. Wasn't surprised at all at the Geisha's reflection, and we still don't know what's really going on there. Honestly, if I'm going to paying good money for a DLC I don't want to feel cheated. If you're going to kill off my boy, do it with style, don't leave me feeling that he busted his balls for nothing. Don't just confirm things I already know and leave me with even more questions than I had to begin with. Theory bait indeed. I, too, am done with all this.

Poor ran away kid, I kinda see that coming but I was hoping that he would suffied and help the other kids get of the maw with the gnomes helping him. You knew something cool like that? After all 6 didn't help any one and leat the maw after killing the gust by sucking out there souls, and not only that there's still a lot of things we don't knew, like is lady 6 mother? I don't think so. But there's other things we don't knew like if the lady had sister what happened to them? Are they dead or murdered by the lady so she be the new boss of the maw? Where did the shadow things come from? Where they kids too? Or something else? Is there realying going to be a cartoon about little nightmares? Or a movie about it? And if so it better be much better then teen titans go. Beaucas it would not be far on the fans of little nightmares if it's crap.

Why im thinking that the hanging man in the original game is the mistress' husband. He became like that because of how terrible his wife's behavior and felt guilty for it, i guess. But that's just my assumption

Oh I think the hanged man is the pretender’s father from very little nightmares, there’s a painting in the nest that only shows his feet and legs in the painting of the pretender’s family. Maybe that’s the hanged man?

Huh. This 3-part DLC could've been packed into one for a stronger impact. And deliver other DLCs to answer a lot of the remaining holes in the lore. We get that it's tragic but the ending made the first two pointless seeing the very slow paced escape was all for nothing. Anyway, thanks Manly for sharing this with us.
