This video is a look inside a Charlotte Mason-inspired preschool curriculum, Little Wanderers Preschool, by Beth at Little World Wanderers. ⬇️ CLICK TO SEE MORE INFO ⬇️
🍎 Little Wanderers Preschool is a gentle, developmentally appropriate preschool curriculum. As a former kindergarten teacher and homeschool mom of three, I do not believe a homeschool curriculum for preschool is necessary. That said, if you are looking for something to support connection, story-telling, and play, then there are a few curricula I recommend, including Little Wanderers Preschool.
🧠 Preschool-age children do not need formal academics, reading instruction, or math instruction. They need stories, outside time, play, and opportunities to develop fine/gross motor skills and emotional regulation.

I love waldorf curriculums but many of them are very loose and build yourself/more of an outline and im very much someone who likes a clear day to day week to week outline of what ill be doing what would you recommend for at home preschooling?

For at home-preschool, I recommend keeping it really simple and playful. You can use a program like LWW preschool or guides from Whimsey days to set a theme for the week. For pre-k (think 4-5 yr old), you can add in Kate Snow's Preschool Math at Home (amzn.to/3KoFshe). You can add in phonological awareness resources too (more here: instagram.com/p/CrBBoBMLglu/?hl=en&img_index=1).

Any thoughts on this one compared to oak meadow if you’ve used both now? 😊

I've used both - they are both solid programs, just depends on what you are looking for. OM is more of a "here are a bunch of seasonal/themed ideas for a month" and LWW is "here is a book and a week of activities planned out for you."

I've been homeschooling for many years as a mom of 6 kiddos, but my youngest is turning 3 this summer and has some behavioral issues that I think largely result from needing more one on one time. So despite refusing curriculum before age 6 for most of my children, here I am searching for gentle guides to use with her since I am now a work from home mom as well and need it all laid out for me lol. That being said, I'm looking at this one and Oak Meadow's Preshool (we use Oak Meadow with our older kids). Seeing as Oak Meadow only has 1 curriculum guide before Kindergarten, and I will start my summer birthday baby in Kinder when she is 6 and not 5 due to when her birthday falls, I need a few different options. Would you saw OM preschool would be more appropriate for a 3 year old and this one would be more suited to an age 4 year? I'm also looking at Wee Folk Art. I like all 3 and figure if I use one for each year that should get us to kindergarten and be 3 different guides to just encourage and influence some intentional time with her every day. I'd love your thoughts on best order to use these in. Thanks!

Love how you are thinking about this! Yes, I would say OM preschool a better fit for 3yr old preschool and then LWW preschool and or Wee Folk and/or Whimsy Day guides for the next year.
