Very cool table. I like the faux-live edge idea. I didnt want to like the lattice leg, but when I saw how you carried it through the top I cahnged my mind, looks cool!

That's the best piece in the competition. Not a fan of the lattice but you treated the spalted slab with respect,making this the most satisfying piece in the contest.

I loved how towards the end of the video, when you slowed the video down to normal speed, you could hear Jimmy and Bob from their podcast, Making It. I listen to them in my shop while I'm working on a project too! Awesome work! I think you'll win!

Emulating a "live" edge on a piece that was not "live" on the 200th anniversary of Shelly's "Frankenstein" is somewhat satisfying.. Nice build, Subscription added! The fact that it was made from an assortment of different species is also somewhat fitting!

Maybe it's just my antiestablishment thinking outside the box, but I would have used the crate and the steel straps in my build. Just to be snarky. Great job, Kyle. You did some really interesting things here. I like the faux live edge. The lattice is not my style, but style is subjective and I can appreciate the work and creativity that went into the design. Watching you work, I can see the difference from guys who have learned along the way, and someone who was trained in a school. Thanks for sharing and teaching all of us.

Really dig that table Kyle...but that hot glue gun is the BOMB! Educate me please...any reason why you run the table saw blade towards the fence? Also, I will be needing to build a dutch door, which incorporates a doggie door from scratch. Any tips or references you can turn me onto. Thanks...also enjoy the podcast.

My saw tilts the same, I move the fence to the other side of the blade, I might be too cautious but do not want it to bind and kick back. Cool bench !
