Gov. Wes Moore said salvage operations involves the use of technology to map the site of Baltimore's collapsed Francis Scott Key Bridge. The governor said Wednesday's unified command briefing indicated Wednesday's weather conditions made it unsafe for rescue divers to return to the water. The governor said the water is so murky that salvage divers can't see more than 2 feet in front of them, so sonar is being used. www.wbaltv.com/article/key-bri...

This is an example of how government should work for the people, unified as one, great job Governor Moore, Mayor Scott & the unified Command team. If you are complaining down here in these comments, this is difficult work & we have been having bad weather for the last few days. Work like this can’t be done in lightning storms.

To those complaining you have no idea what these folks are going thru . Also keep in mind ( Four I repeat Four ) men body’s are at the bottom, show respect . ⁠@@user-sp7rr5yc7jwell Mr. B no one’s trying to take anything away from his leadership but a true leader gets those doing the actual work what they need and doesn’t have to be there at the press briefings on progress etc. people need to hear from the commanders who work with those doing the actual work not a political grand standing governor who just wants to put gold stars next to his name. What we have here is way too many chiefs and not enough Indians. Reminds me of my old boss when he’s not on the job things are getting done and when he shows up and starts barking orders nothings gets done because he created chaos as is the governor who wants to be there doing press briefings instead of being in the governors office making sure the Indians get whatever they need to get things done in the field.

This is an American problem. This will affect all Americans from coast to coast equally regardless of political party. We all watch and pray for the safety of all parties trying to remove the bridge as well as for the families of the people who have lost their lives during the bridge collapse.

The problem is that Americans will not read anything about the Tavistock programs that are run through the media. As long as American will not read about these well published programs they will keep allowing and falling for "infrastrcture collapses", "mass shooting events", etc. Learning about Tavistock programs would be so helpful to ALL Americans that it should be required in all Jr. High public schools. The Americans could get out of the yoke of these events...and the events would stop.

They will have to clean it up the same way that they build a water dam. They will have to put steel barriers down both sides of the collapsed bridge. They will then have to pump the water out before they can remove the steel debris.

None of these people on stage have the ability to dive to 50 feet or rig steel or handle a large crane. The hard work is being done by hard working professionals who will make every effort to make the mission possible, those that are on the water deserve our support and patience

No they haven’t as 4 are still missing those is just political grand standing by the governor who in my opinion should be at the office of the governor worrying more about dealing with federal government agencies state agencies,etc. Nope not this governor he wants to be the tv focus because of his own political aspirations. These press briefings should be run by the command structure doing the actual work not grand standing politicians.

I really haven’t heard much of it, but have they recovered the rest of the bodies of the family members that passed away under the bridge or they still working on it the last thing I heard was two survived, and two were removed. There was four unaccountable.

A lot of the vehicles are trapped under the wreckage which is under 50 feet of water and a lot of it is in the mud under the water. So it's probably going to take a long time. Especially with all the rain we've gotten.

The Coast Guard Admiral looks very solemn because her knows this is a huge task at hand. I think the Govenor of Maryland was a bit PO'ed when the Admiral didn't mention recovery of the victims as a "priority" task. @35:30 How can you not know how many container's are in the water? The ship has a manifest! Who in this raps cord outfit can't count? Jesus Christ, this is why people don't trust the Government, because of stupid statements like this. You obviously don’t live in this region. Will they get an additional channel dredged in the near future. Yes they can, but it won’t be as deep. It has been raining nonstop complete with lightning for the last few days. Nobody with any degree of consciousness is going to send divers into that. You are looking at weeks to clear the debris and months to build a 1 1/2 mile bridge . We are even dealing with debris washing up on shore. It took years of 1970s technology to build that bridge

You obviously don’t work in heavy highway construction because it takes two years to get a plan,design,bids from the manufactures who will supply and manufacture the beams etc. to rebuild the bridge. They are back logs right now on these types of beams and other components to rebuild this bridge and then there’s logistical transportation that has to be coordinated to get them there and then weather and man power to assemble and build the bridge. This isn’t a lego set or connects set tremendous amounts of planning and scheduling has to come together to make it all work out and get done.
