It’s been an amazing opportunity to spend more time with my son. He’s been out on sets since he was baby. Each year gets more interesting, you are in for an exciting ride.

"Have you even worked a 10 hour day??" "No." Oh... the fun that awaits him :) Chuckled at that one. Joking aside, you're really giving your son a wonderful gift here. The education about production is great, but even if he doesn't follow you into media, there will be plenty of great lessons about being conscientious, taking pride in what you do, working with a wide variety of people, etc etc. Yes, he's earning money of course, but also getting a lot of quality time with his dad. I didn't follow my dad into his profession, but look back fondly on the teenage summers we worked together. Good on you!

Your lad is becoming quite the camera assistant! I have a hypercardiod for all my interiors, less pickup from the rear and still able to isolate the talent voice.

Much better isolation vs the Omni lav I used. I knew better and next time will run the cardioid.

I keep all my batteries, which I don't move or use daily, in storage bags made for e-bike batteries. A bit expensive but they are made for an e-bike battery to catch fire in one of those without anything around it taking any damage. Just imagine what would have happened if it had caught fire and you would have been away from home. Of course you can drive yourself mad with such eventualities, but old batteries are something to be careful about. I hope your arm is healing well.

Macbook repairs happen on the back porch from now on lol. Those new fujinon duvo handheld lens would be a good fit for a job like that. But the 200-600 is like 10k cheaper! lol.

sent the report to apple directly it will get replaces and have pic and video had the same thing happen last 3 weeks ago great to see your mini me on job with you do C70 canon Kit + all the. CN-E lense controles can work btw

Do you use 26 volt batteries on your F22c and if so, how much run time do you get? I just used mine yesterday. I like it for its output and mobility. Thinking about picking up a second one to replace my Aputure Tri 8’s for location work.

Using core 98WH gold mount. Each interview was 15-30% dimmer. We got through about 10 quick interviews over 5 hours on one battery. Powering down between. I want to buy two more F22c and sell my Lite panel Gemini 2:1 lights.
