From an agriculture student in a technologically advanced study, ya'll should know we're literally breeding plant species for shelf life, weight, and pest resistance (AKA higher toxiciy so we can use less pesticides/herbicides externally). Not flavor, quality, or health. Seed breeding companies are some of the powers that be. The message of plant toxicity didn't land with me until hearing it on this channel, even when I was actively researching in the field. I've been a little afraid to speak out on this topic, but oh well, that's what I experienced. All the plants you see in the store are either hybridized or bred to be unrecognizable from their natural counterparts, it's all fake.

I'm so mad about it I almost want to start a channel to support the carnivore movement from the regenerative agriculture perspective. I went to college as a vegan, wanting to prove plant agriculture superior to animal agriculture, and learned that real science can be proving your own hypothesis dead wrong. This message has helped me on mental and physical health, from injury that never healed eating a plant based diet, and I want to give back to the community somehow.

Speaking as a Carnivore & Dentist, I personally have experienced MUCH LESS tooth sensitivity over my past 4 years. Make sure to use the softest toothbrush you can find (Ultra Soft Colgate is what I use) and a less abrasive toothpaste and/or a creamy one that has calcium. Do not use charcoal or harsh whitening preparations if you are having pain. We do see quite a bit more sensitivity to the point of a false toothache during the seasonal changes. I do not want to eat fluoride but it does bind to calcium & make it more acid resistant, so I still use it. Look for a TP that has Arginine & calcium as that is a possible fluoride free option. Hope this helps.

For whoever is going through the tooth pain I had it severely for about 3 months. I went to the dentist and they said my teeth were fine. I stuck it out and now I think what it was was the oxalates dumping. It would like come and go and was so annoying but eventually does go away. Mine took a while but now my teeth are the best they have been and no pain. Definitely go get x rays to rule anything out but if you still have a mystery of tooth pain and aches it could be oxalates.

I am a 68-year-old female and have spinal stenosis. I'm hoping the carnivore diet helps relieve the pain, at least a little. I still walk or do recumbent cycling 4-5 days a week, but sometimes the pain in my back and the backs of my thighs really gets to me. I walked 2 miles today an had to take some extra-strength Tylenol to tolerate the resulting discomfort.

I had silent reflux that caused shortness of breath and heart palpitations. My primary care physician put me on Pantoprazole 40 mg daily and I've no further issues with this problem once the PPI started working. However, I'm still taking Pantoprazole and it's been more than a year. I would like to be able to stop the PPI and hoping the carnivore diet can help with that as well as my constant back pain. I dropped over 100 pounds prior to starting carnivore. Hopefully, another 90 pounds off will make a difference.

I was talking with a friend about the carnivore diet. She asked me why animals like cows that eat grass dont have problems if plants are bad for you. Why are plants just bad for humans? Can you help me answer this? Thanks.
@wolfgangmozartSM2032
@wolfgangmozartSM2032 Ай бұрын
Cows -- and other ruminant-stomach-based animals, like deer, sheep, elk, etc -- thrive on grass because of the extra stomach that they have, the ruminant one, in which the twice-chewed cud are swallowed again, this time into the ruminant stomach, where it is loaded with all sorts of beneficial bacteria that breaks down the cellulose of the grasses, thus freeing up the nutrients in the grasses. Humans don't have ruminant stomachs, so they have to eat the flesh of animals -- ruminants being the best ones -- to get the nutrients that the ruminants got via their ruminant stomachs.
@AlastrionaS
@AlastrionaS Ай бұрын
It’s because grass is their natural diet. Cows have four stomachs, plus they regurgitate their cud and chew it over and over to get all the nutrition out of grass. It’s all they need besides water.

For the teeth issues: Could this be a heavy metal detox symptom for some people? I know I'm dealing with this myself, but it's due to implants; probably poor quality china made. Since getting them I've had metabolic syndrome (permanent fight/flight issue until burnout?) that not even carnivore is helping. I don't want to get my implants removed, but it may likely be the only thing that fixes my metabolism, adrenal function, etc.

I have noticed more vascularlity as of late when being low carb for a while now. I believe this is a common symptom some might experience. My body fat is quite low, as I'm thin and lanky slightly underweight for my height. 6'4" 150. Perhaps it's a sign of the veinous system improving. Occasionally it feels like high blood pressure, but that could be related to being in a warm, tropical climate too.

If it’s homogenized, then the fat molecules are broken up into smaller pieces and can pass through a leaky gut. I would definitely eliminate dairy if it’s homogenized and/or if it has added gums (heavy cream almost always has guar gum and other additives - very difficult to find a brand where heavy cream is the only ingredient). Same thing with cream cheese. Raw kefir is probably your safest dairy choice if you really want to keep dairy. Butter I would not count as dairy.
@estherruth4692

Just to clarify; the additives/gums in heavy cream can cause really bad gut issues which is why I’d definitely eliminate those ingredients when trying to heal Crohn’s

You eat till you are satiated. Eat fatty meat. Stop when you are full and then repeat. You don't have to fast or restrict your intake to lose weight. You want to avoid low calories as it'll make it pretty much impossible to lose weight. You each to focus on health and not weight loss - then you'll drop the weight so easily. I've lost about 40 kgs since July. 😊

Yes, eat all you want, when you want. According to my scale I’ve lost 15 lbs (barely trying- I haven’t ate a veg since Aug. ‘23, but it took forever to go without sugar, which I finally did in Feb. ‘24 for a month.) My downfall is greek coconut yogurt which I started eating again, but last week I watched Bart Kay’s video on NOT mixing fat and sugar, so I’m back to only ribeyes, salt and water. Anyway, at 60 my muscle went up from 92 lbs to 96 lbs, bone up from 5.0 to 5.2 and my fat went down from 40% to 34%. I’ve lost 3” on my stomach and 2” on my waist. More importantly, my knees don’t ache and my feet aren’t numb anymore. I don’t fixate on food all day, which is great. Shopping is so fast, too. I’m very happy having done this! Edit: I have to add that I don’t snore anymore, (my watch tells me) nor do I wake up a few times nightly for the bathroom! I’m still amazed about that every morning!
