My cousin and I were talking about this exact thing yesterday, we can’t even comprehend it, weither or not you believe your dad had anything to do with it, just knowing those kids were buried back there I wouldn’t be able to set foot on that property ever again. Both Emma and Garth were completely emotionally detached while testifying about their dead Mother. Even her acquaintances shed tears when recounting memories. These two kids were so focused on "getting their testimony right" , getting the lies correct, they couldnt access any emotion. Had they been recalling real events, those memories would be accompanied by heavy emotions and they would break thru. Im sure the jury can feel that something seemed "off" with them, even if not able to put a finger on what that something was.

Regarding Garth’s testimony: She had McDonald’s. According to Chad, she threw up twice. According to the autopsy, Tammy had potatoes and peanuts in her stomach. No McDonald’s

If she ate McDonalds I would think that would have showed up on her autopsy. It can take 24 hours or longer for the body to digest fast food meat and all the carbs and fat that comes in a hamburger, especially McDonalds.

McDonalds is probably 10 mins from the Daybell house I find a lot of Prior statement unbelieve, some times stupid I bet he knows where McDonalds is located in Rexburg you can see the Golden arches near the entrance of I-15 entrance and exit ramps in Rexburg.. This is from questions asked of Garth. Their probably be an appeal because of John Prior s lack of knowledge or lack of professionalism!

I’m surprised that no one caught the fact that Emma didn’t know which direction her house was from her parents house because she was “bad with directions” yet she was the one who googled what direction the wind was going to be the night JJ and Tylie were buried?? If she’s so terrible with directions what good is it going to do for her to find out the wind direction? Sorry… not buying it!

@kathleenp9643 You might be right, but same difference. Children who are adept at keeping secrets for their father would obviously also be proficient liars, regurgitating whatever narrative they were instructed to give. This likely also involved being enmeshed with their father, lack of their own autonomy, and of course religious duty to obey.

As hard as it is to believe that children would lie on the stand for a parent when their other parent is the victim, it's also worth remembering that psychopathy and sociopathy tend to run in families. 🤷‍♀️ At the very least, these kids are showing strong symptoms of parental alienation 😕 Poor Tammy ❤

Interesting, Garth states he heard his dad snoring, and then later, he testified, early in the morning he was awoken by his dad calling for help. Then the following week he returned back to work at the haunted house and one of his co workers was expressing condolences. He asked Garth what happened? Garth replied that upon coming home after he and co-worker went to a different haunted house, once off duty, he got home and saw is mom partially rolled out of bed, her lips were blue and she was very pale. My dad was not there, his friend asked, where was he? Garth, “I don’t know.” Huge contradiction. I had heard Garth had some less than truthful issues with the grand jury as well, but I’m not sure about that.
