Happy Born Day tomorrow!, when I get mine, I’ll use it to store plumbing supplies and if I like the box, I’ll get another one for electrical supplies.

The pack out system would be great for the gun range and all the accessories associated with shooting, like the AMMO BOX ! ta da. You can customize it for anything. Imagination is a wonderful thing

Great video! The concept of a PackOut ammo can is a good idea but I had no idea what to do with one until I watched your video. The main thig I was going to use a couple of these ammo cans for pvc pipe fittings on my irrigation projects. They take up a lot of room but the dividers will help keep them from being in a mess and not knowing what I have heading out into the field. Go to work creating mods for this box.

I purchased mine for cleaning chemicals to placed in that would keep them upright and also separate from my other tools. Other than that I havent found much other uses for them.

With that ammo box you could build a a tool caddy that can drop in store chisels pliers , small levels, planes, files, built in drawers for small screw bit and bobs , drills. Etc

if you happen to buy one of these, there are videos on stash bins that can be put in the front corners. i would've never thought of that idea so i wanted to share that info

I've got two of them. One I put my old M18 multitool, with two batteries, and a M12 hackzall with two 4ah batteries, and extra blades for both in the upper tray. The other one is empty, thinking about getting the insulated lunch box to balance, unless I get the M18 vacuum soon.

Agreed. Just tested out a charge station today. 2 M12/M18 chargers and 2 18V Makita chargers.

I like how you commented on how it’s not made as strong as the first pack out cases. I bought one of the foam filled ones and was very disappointed with how flimsy it was I really hope they don’t continue to make these flimsy boxes. The lid on the original small pack out case was a double layer. And these newer boxes are not

I love my packouts and was considering buying 1 of these. After seeing this review of how flimsy, the lid not locking down when handle up, I think I'll save up and just buy another base with wheels. We all waited on this and this is disappointing. I keep waiting for the framing nailers but I may just abandon that idea as well. Hope Team Red isnt cheapening out.

Thanks for the detailed overview. I'm trying to mod this box into a lithium battery 12 Volt back up power supply so would like to know if you think the box is sturdy enough to hold a wood/MFD frame inside, from edge to edge, cut to house a large 12 volt battery?

Q: I have the M18 High torque 1/2 impact 2767 (not the giant D handle one) I'd like to fit this in the box with the battery and then have the top tray be able to fit inside with the different lug sockets I have. Do you know if this will work? Want to order a few but am hesitant.

I am wondering if you use the m12 impact as much or more or less than the m18? Also, the multi m12 with 4 heads is this a tool worth having, we do cabinetry.

I'm a plumber and I use the M12 impact a ton, I LOVE it, I think you would too, it's lighter, but it's definitely tough

Hi Guys!!! I wonder if that box would make good storage for hand tools? If you remove the tray and use the dividers to organize hand tools vertically in the box, would that work?

I feel like Milwaukee is just making packout stuff now for the sake of more packout stuff. The large packout box was $60 from CPO recently and holds more with a stronger handle... ALSO hoping for a decent zippered packout bag with actual internal pockets 😅

It's very disappointing that the tray in this toolbox isn't interchangeable with the trays in the 22-inch toolbox or the rolling toolbox. Those are interchangeable with each other, but this ammo can toolbox's tray is too big lengthwise to fit in the others, and the other boxes' trays are too big width-wise to fit in the ammo can. But the differences are less than a half-inch. They are almost the exact same height. I don't get it. I can think of no good reason they aren't interchangeable. But I still love Milwaukee Packout; nothing else even comes close, IMO. Love the channel, too, @JakeOfALL.

I got one for my fuel ratchet and stubby impact, the ratchet fits with all the impact sockets i got with attachments in the top tray probably 20 pounds and the stubby, charger and soon to have the tire compresser in the bottom maybe a light too all in that ammo case. Its works awesome dont worry.
