I liked this demo. I bought a Hansa Yellow Light stick because I am messy and it’s nice to have a clean yellow. Such saturated color. Fun to see how artists are using the sticks.

I love these painting sticks…especially for travel. Are there iridescent ones?

I usually like these demos and find them helpful but this one sounded like one big sales pitch for DS Sticks. I have many of the sticks and I love them. I buy them for eco reasons since they have less packaging. What I was hoping to see here is tips in mixing, differences between pans, tubes and sticks, how to cut sticks, how to fill pans with sticks, mixing sticks and tubes, etc.

I cut mine with a box cutter and an ordinary kitchen paring knife. There isn't any real difference from pans. The obvious difference from tubes is that they are dry. They are more economical. Using them directly on wet doesn't add extra water which can cause puddles or blooms.

I would love to see Rose of Ultramarine, Quin Pink, Cascade Green, Green Appetite Genuine, and especially Indigo in stick form for botanical art. Aussie Red Gold also one of my faves for botanicals. Great video today showcasing the sticks! 🤗

Really? Because I'd love to see free dot cards and a case with purchase. Why buy a product you them have to buy a container to hold them? Or better yet, with all the inexpensive professional grade single pigment paints on the market now, why buy a dot card when one can buy 12 half pans and a tin from another company for the same price.

Offer free dot cards please. Why would anyone buy a dot cards from you when they can buy 12 half pan professional grade single pigment paints and a tin for the same price. There are way too many excellent quality paint companies in the market now to not offer free dot cards.
