I have the 2019 Forte EX. I like to call it EX1 instead of lower mid level. I love your videos Peter. I wish I was close to Brantford. Im in Scarborough.

I appreciate this video so much! I'm going to test drive this car tomorrow and for now, it's the one I'm most interested in! The interior is quite nice for this price range, and the back seats actually have cup holder which I appreciate. This just helps me figure out the car before going in so thank you!

I wonder if the next Forte's front grill will be updated to look more like the Seltos and Sorento's grill. I think those look much better than the Forte's current one but I'm wondering if it would work on a vehicle with this shape.

Cars usually go through a refresh, where they do an update to the bumpers and grills, around halfway through the 5 year life cycle of the car. So we can expect that they'll throw a few updates at the grill in the next year or two.

Hi I'm currently in the process of buying a 2020 Forte in NB Canada and I'm looking at the EX plus. Could you explain the added features over the Ex trim. Have been working back and forth over the phone texting and email and haven't yet set a time to actually see the car in person to see the differences. I did drive a 2019 forte last year and was really impressed. I have to say the sales and finance people are the best I've ever dealt with and have been very very helpful in the process. Thank you for your time great video

The biggest differences would be LED lighting all around, and a sunroof. Hope that helps!

Yes, the LED light is so bright, no need for fog lights.

Hey Peter, I'm wondering if you can help me out, I want to upgrade my speakers in my 2020 Kia forte lxs 4-door sedan. I cannot find any information anywhere, is there a link or a video you can send me so I can accomplish my goal before the summer comes I want to fully enjoy my car thank you Peter

Unfortunately I'm not the expert on this. I just checked with our parts department, and there is no official accessory upgrade. In Brantford, we have a few car audio shops who would be experts in this, and they would be who I would call. If you live out of town, you may want to see if there's a shop that specializes in car audio near you. Sorry that I couldn't help more.

I bought a Kia just like that and it had the spare and that kit under the Matt. And the spare tire and Jack was just laying in the trunk. What are these steel hooks for?

The hooks plug into the front or rear of the car if you ever need an attachment point for a tow truck.

I have a 2020 Kia Forte LXS with only 2500 miles on it. About a week ago the display, when you first turn the key says, due for service in 24 days. According to the manufacture, the first service is at 7500 mile. Why is my Kia saying due for service already?

That Service Interval reminder ca be reset. It sounds like it wasn't done when you bought it. If you go to the SETTINGS menu in the centre of the dash using your steering wheel buttons, then scroll down to... I believe... CONVENIENCE, then scroll down to Service Interval or Service reminder, and you can reset it yourself to the correct amount of miles.

how do i hook up the fog lights at the bottom of the bumper? what fogs will fit and how would i hook em up?

I get asked this question often... I'm NOT the guy to help with that. :) Sorry. Check with your dealer, maybe the parts department, or the service department. They'll be a better resource for this type of thing than I will be.

@@GoofyKnockz Haha! I'd love to answer, but a technician would be the best person to chat with. I would assume that the electronics would notice that the emission control parameters aren't being met, and you'd have to deal with an engine light code. I'm not sure how to do these kinds of things, so I won't be the best person to give you an accurate answer.

I have this car. I really like it, and the smart mode is better than normal mode. Steering wheel in smart mode is safer than other modes. I am a new driver, and I have this car for one month. Now, I am curious about how to remote start. Does someone know it?

Your car may not be equipped with a remote starter.

In Canada, we don't have any Forte's with fog lights right now.

You will need to add a remote starter to this car to gain that function.

The touchscreen has an app on it called UVO. If you download Kia Access to your phone you can link it to the car and remote start/set inside temp, and lock/unlock the doors that way, as well as get other vehicle info
