That was 3 months ago, why would that be related to a sudden poor form now? They've lost it all in a quick streak of games in the past couple weeks, not 3 months, if anything their best part of the season was around when he announced he was leaving. It's also Liverpool, they usually have a bad last part of the season anyways

Honestly, the Simpsons have been good the last few seasons. I even went back and watched the older season and there's definitely a lot of good episodes throughout them, but some HORRENDOUS episodes. Also, Poch gets a little bit of slack since he's got a bunch of new kids and the only adults is a worn out Thiago Silva playing babysitter to the front three of nitwits so dumb fighting over the ball, they are basically the three kids of Mother in Futurama.

Liverpools defense wasn't that good, what changed, was largely attackers being worse than earlier in the season. I'm not convinced of this forward line at all, is Nunez really good enough? What's happening with Salah? If they can find a decent fee for Salah(turns 32), they should take the money and run imo, while he still has some value in the market.

As an Arsenal fan I think it's looking pretty good for us. We've played 2 games more than City with only 4 games to go. I know City are meant to be mentality monsters and all but they've just been knocked out of the Champions League and were matched by Chelsea almost going to extra time if it weren't for VAR being VAR. They're not in the right head space.

Xabi Alonso was never an option for Liverpool. Also Arne Slot’s style of play fits perfectly into the Liverpool style of play. Slot won the Eredivisie and KNVB Cup as well as reaching a European Final with Feyenoord. Slot is doing wonders at a side with limited resources. Imagine what he could do with Liverpool.

And when talking about players, Ajax players have "Ajax tax", they always get a premium price because they have a good name in foreign countries, and clubs keep overpaying for them, I can't really foult them for that. But there are still some succesfull Eredivisie signings in the PL, like Van der Ven, Van Dijk and Botman. Or even Senesi or Martinez. Pretty remarkeble that the best performing players are all centrebacks though.

@@gabrielsierra6344 Ten Hag hasn't failed, he only fails if he gets sacked but rn he's only in his 2nd season. Not to mention Ten Hag has inherited a team that has been part of humiliations under Solskjaer. He needs time and backing. Same way Liverpool fans should do if Slot gets appointed.

@@Slydayo Exactly, his age might have also been an issue. Sure, you can have 60-something coaches suddenly becoming World Class again (like how Spalletti won the Serie A title with Napoli at 64), but why would you go with an old manager to rvamp your team?

@@Slydayo yeah. Fair is fair I guess. The point I was making tho is that if a top club is going to hire a coach from outside the top 5 leagues, they have to at least have won the league or had a noticeable run in Europe. A domestic cup just doesn’t cut it.
