yep nobody cares, but still feels great to have some silverware to begin with, after losing out on 2 trophies so damn close. Now that some mention it, yes it was the last trophy klopp did not have yet, so still important in that way. Now he has literally achieved everything he could, apart from europa league and stuff like that

Being German, I think Klopp thought this was the super cup and therefore definitely wanted to win this. Maybe, lost in translation, but just like Mourinho for all those years. Nunez with a fantastic debut really showing how dangerous and effective he can be. Salah was incredible once again. Time and time again shows why he is irreplaceable. Diaz worked his socks off and was great today. Thiago and Fab were brilliant also. Fantastic confidence boost for the team as the season begins. Very interested to see what Klopp does with Fabio, his cameo was wonderful to see.

Salah had a great game. Assist for the first goal, set up the Nunez header for the penalty, scored the penalty, and then crossed it to Robertson for the assist to Nunez. Salah won us this game, but our midfield and lack of options got badly exposed again. We need another midfielder.

I think he will pick up the pace. I don't know about his physic though. He looks like one of those players who end up picking up injury after injury. The Bundesliga is a good fit for him, but EPL will have him pushing his limits. I think he will be injury prone here.
