I had the similar situation with Jerry Jones. Well. I was a cook in Florida. Jerry was with his family. I was told to leave him alone. Chef left i walked out. I asked if he was the famous cowboys owner. He smiled and said yes. I said go bears. Monsters will beat your great franchise this year. He smiled and i told him it was a pleasure. He smiled and took off his ring. It was a super bowl ring. He handed it to me. Smiling he said. I hope next time we meet your team has more then one ring. I smiled and actually showed off his ring. My chef not so happy but realized im a big fan. He let it slde. I lived near Pensacola. Home of emmit smith and roy jones jr.. Still not a fan but he was very nice

Phil Jackson is the GREATEST COACH EVER and Michael Jordan is THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME. Nobody and I mean nobody will and can ever match what MJ has done. Won 3-peat, 3 finals MVP and 7 scoring titles then retired. He came back then won his second 3-peat, 3 more finals MVPs, and 3 more scoring titles. All in all he won 2 e-peat championships, 6 finals MVP, and 10 scoring titles all with the same team before he retired again from the Bulls for good.. Michael Jeffrey Jordan is the GOAT then, now and forever.
@geronimopratt79764 жыл бұрын
Not quite the full story. He left the Bulls at the end of the 98 season after the championship and went to the Washington Wizards. He played there 5 years and then retired in 2003. In the last 5 years his stats dwindled down and he didn't make the playoffs. That's how he finished his NBA career as a player.
@aw83574 жыл бұрын
@@geronimopratt7976 that's not quite the full story as well. He went to the Wizards a year after retiring the second time from the Bulls, but he went to be President of basketball operations. The following year he played for the team and only played 60 games because of injury. It is true he did not make the playoffs but he still averaged 20+ points I believe at age 40.
@geronimopratt79764 жыл бұрын
@@aw8357 be that as it may from 2001 to 2003 he definitely played on the Wizards team as a player and didn't make any attributes but pad his stats. Of course he averaged 20 points, he wouldn't pass the ball, in denial that he was still Air Jordan, courtesy of his teammates on the Wizards. Yeah that part, the omitted part. Talking about him being an owner, how have the Hornets ever done under his ownership?
@aw83574 жыл бұрын
@@geronimopratt7976 being a crappy owner doesn't take away from him being the GOAT. In my opinion he would have been better off not playing for the Wizards but he still had that itch. No one can beat old age.
@geronimopratt79764 жыл бұрын
@@aw8357 but you can't interject him being an owner and president as part of your list of MJ accomplishments and when I state how bad of an owner he was you directly go to that doesn't stop him from being the GOAT! People use stats and accomplishments in bias ways, but if pointed out the mundane moments, superfans get delusional and spin facts to support their worst observations. Going with old age, there were guys that played at 40 that played better than MJ a 40. MJ played never won without Pippen period. Just sad real basketball fans know there's no rings without Pippen. Pippen couldn't do it without MJ. They share that 6 rings GOAT convo, mic drop

PJ sometimes gets over looked when people say superstars win championships and coaching is just a small factor. But how many rings have Shaq, Kobe, Pippen, and MJ won before and after being coached by him? Just one by Shaq with another great HC in Pat Riley. And PJ as their coach won a total of 11 rings together. Which is an amazing feat.
