I definitely know how you feel about wanting to me more social and outgoing. I feel like once you get older and isn’t in environment that pushes you to be social (university), it gets harder to make friends or be more of an extrovert. Even when I tried to start conversations, I feel uncomfortable and unease. I would literally think of those situations all week and it would really affect me. I work a job that allows me to work from home as well and although it has its perks, I’m realizing how much it has impact my socializing skills, relationships with people and my mental health. Adulting is already hard enough, and being an introvert is harder when you really want to make changes and not be dependent on your significant other.

Also if you want to get into coffee... try cold press (yes, even in the winter). It isn’t heat extracted so it has a lower acidity.. and you can add flavor shots (like chocolate, caramel, vanilla) and your favorite milk (or milk substitute). It’s a nice way to introduce yourself to a highly caffeinated drink.
