Pumpkin Patch & Dahlia Farm trip to get away from the city and all the chaos that 2020 has brought with it, we decided to take a nice day trip out to the Seattle countryside to enjoy some fresh air and good old Fall activities! Since we have Halloween coming up, we decided to go to the pumpkin patch and pick our pumpkins right from the farm and also explore the countryside. We planned on carving the pumpkins...but got lazy that didn't happen LOL!
We also stopped by the flower farm nearby which is owned and operated by a local family who grows flowers year round to supply for arrangements they sell at Pike Place Market in downtown Seattle (make sure to check out my video • Visiting Seattle Durin... where I tour Seattle for more on flower vendors at Pike Place Market)! We just missed the sunflowers as they've been harvested the week before, but the dahlias were in full bloom so all is not lost.
If you are interested in taking a trip out there to do some pumpkin pickin' and see the flower farms yourself - below is the contact info for both places. The flower farm doesn't require prior reservations, but the pumpkin patch does; there is a $5 charge for parties up to 5 people - you can reserve and pay on their website ahead of time!
