Podshare is a new way to beat the high cost of living and Inside Edition met with some residents in Los Angeles who are calling the capsules home. “I loved it so much, I wanted to stay and extra month,” resident Ashley Marcoux told Inside Edition. Elvina Beck founded Podshare and told Inside Edition that “there is no privacy allowed. You see me. I see you. We establish trust.” Podshare is sort of like a co-ed dorm but for adults. #InsideEdition

My one-bedroom apartment is $780. If you want to beat the high cost of living, move somewhere cheaper. Living by the beach isn't worth paying $1000 to live with total strangers, honestly. There's probably snoring and talking constantly. You'd never get a second of privacy.

My sons flat is quite expensive but he is 4 minutes from the sea ( a short walk and practically in his backyard) and his landlady has said he can have it as long as he wants. She did recently put the rent up though. He's a five minute walk to the village shops and grows veg and herbs on the deck. (He is in a tsunami listed area though if a big earthquake strikes).
