Amazing job, never panic. I'm a US Navy Veteran, fire fighter was part of my job. I recommend a CO2 fire extinguisher. No mess and works well.

Babygirl it really warmed my heart seeing her running and rolling around on the grass. You could honestly see the difference from the day before. Enjoy all your with Skye. Another big love to you 2 and Skye from Oklahoma! I went through the same thing with my boxer, Boojee. I implemented CBD treats or anything ingestible for her. Helped Boojee eat and gave her comfort and a little more time. Great video! I’m so sorry about Skye. You’re the best mom and she knows that. 💜💜

You were so quick to grab the fire extinguisher and calmly put that fire out!!!! Amazing. Thank goodness you had that right where you could get it quick. I am so proud of you! The mess can be dealt with, just another thing... right. Dang, that was scary. Love Sky and you, please keep up the great work. She is lucky to have you. That oven would be in that water right now if it was me. F that scary thing. The company owes you your money back. My crazy dog knocked over my fire extinguisher in the garage and it sprayed. What a horrible mess!

Becca, I’ve only followed your channel for a short time. Being a dog person myself, I just absolutely love Skye. She is so precious. Get a few fire blankets. They are incredibly effective at putting out small fires without the mess of a fire extinguisher.

Fire extinguishers are so very important. I also had a fire in my skoolie, involving propane (not the same way as you). It was so scary and the clean-up from spraying the fire extinguisher was the worst. It was everwhere!

Hey Becca. You might take your hose to a hardware store and see if they have a 90° elbow that will screw on to the back of your stove and also screw into your hose. Atleast that will make your hose go to the side and not be pinched. Spray ya some soapy water on the connection after ya turn the gas on. No bubbles no leak. 😀👍

You can put a 90 degree elbow on the gas fitting and it will point downward and hose will fit without a kink.

Oh and that stove you can get a 90° fitting to help that hose just make sure there tight you can check with some soapy spray bottle

Fire! Problem with that was you need to have thread tape ( plumbing tape) on the connection on the back wrap it around the threads clockwise same way as you tighten the nut ..where you attach the hose and tighten with wrench, not finger tight! You can get replacement hose home depot Walmart and the tape, it's white in a round plastic case.

Dennis the host is a really good guy , as are the security. Only thing you need security for there is protection from the large rats that come out at night. Lol. Good catch and response putting out that fire. 🙏🏽👍🏽 Ps. You gotta see the other hidden portion of the campground that located right behind the storage containers ( nyc glamping). Glad you survived the fire hope you have fun cleaning LOL I think I have 5-6 Carhartt hats and two with the full face things that tuck into the hat that are orange and used during hunting season that I haven't worn in a few years since my friends have gotten too many deer so I don't even bother going hunting anymore. I have only worn three colors so far this winter.

Take the oven to an old-fashioned hardware store (Ace, True Value, etc.). Someone there will take the time to rummage through the copper fittings with you to come up with a safe way to turn 90 into the oven. So scary. I think you handled it, beautifully. I feel bad that you exiled the oven, though, haha.

Like Hawaiian pizza but hot honey😯, I've never tried, just lots hot peppers lol, mikes is great hot honey tho, but so easy make own and add what seasoning like, recommend cinnamon👍. So glad Skye got there, she smelled central park tho. we're also not city people, just stuck in one lol. Tyvm tc 🎣

Those fire extinguishers make a huge mess make sure you replace that extinguisher once the seal is broken they lose pressure

You handled the fire great! Do you have one of those rechargeble vaccuums that could suck up a majority of of the powder so you aren't breathing it in? If not then maybe think about getting one in case something like that happens again. Also, 1st thing to do is to get the extinguisher recharged before your next trip. You probably know that, Im just in mom mode and sharing what I would tell my own kids. The city skyline is beautiful, but it's definitely not up there with mountain views in my opinion. Glad everything turned out well. If you stay at a place who does the gate thing remember to close it in the same fashion behind you. In the city it’s a deterrent but more rural trails use it to keep animals in or out.

Hey little sis I work for a hydraulic hose company called Motion & flow control products.Google the name and see if there is a location close to you, we have locations everywhere.You need a brass 90 degrees adapter for you little oven so your hose don’t kink while pushed up against the wall.Maybe even have the hose re crimped too.Glad you guys are good 🙏🏻

Have you seen those fire suffocating blankets? I saw it on shark tank. My dad was a fireman and always thought that in a situation like you just went you just have that blanket right there and literally throw it on and it suffocates the fire and then you do not have to mess with the chemical that you've sprayed everywhere or it clean. Just a thought. Extra insurance. You we're great!!!!

Welcome! To NYC, Sorry to hear u are not a fan of are city 😢... We do have alot of Beautiful places and also wonderful people..You just need to do your research in which areas before visiting the city, so everything won't catch u by surprise. Come in summer ☀️ There's lot of great Fishing Spots all around from Saltwater and Freshwater fishing 🎣 Anyways, I enjoyed the video and glad u handled that fire 🔥 👏 and had that extinguisher near.
