I love the coffee table! Two-toned for the win yet again. I do think a found armoire would be perfect for the space. Impressed with how much you got done with the littles running around and appreciate you being real…because life happens!

Julie, I love your attitude about plucking away at the makeover, we don't always have the time to get everything done at once, when we're doing it ourselves. I love your new sofas, and your building skills are great. Can't wait to see it finished!! It's going to be amazing!

Julie, after 8 months of long covid, I'm still struggling; some days I have physical energy, and other days I just... don't. Lol. So hearing you talk in this video, about plugging away, doing projects just a little at a time, felt like such a relief! I truly appreciate your videos.

I love how your living is coming together. Plucking away at it gets more done than trying to do it all by yourself with a houseful of people "helping" entertain you lol. My absolute favorite part of this entire video is when you stopped to draw with Wryn and she kissed you. OMG my heart melted❤😍😘

Also, seeing that you aren't able to complete one entire room all at once actually makes me feel like you are a REAL human too. I always feel like I'm not working hard enough or fast enough, even though I'm going as fast and hard as I possibly can....Seeing you like this...reassures me that I'm doing fine!!! So thank you for that reassurance that we all have life happening all around us all the time. Definitely makes me feel better!!!!!

I've always thought that where ever I am, despite the location or the house, I am going to do all I can to make it home for however long I'm there. Julie, Thank you so much for sharing! Watching this video, it feels like you are speaking to me! This is exactly how most of my projects/renovations are going lately! Between toddlers, weather, and stock issues...sometimes I feel like I never actually accompolish anything! It's nice to know that it isn't just me and to have the reminder to be kind to yourself. Llife gets busy and it's OK to not have everything perfect (or perfectly complete) exactly when you planned. Thank you for your honesty and taking the time to share! Also- all your projects look amazing!! Can't wait to see it all finished....but take your time!! lol

Everything is comi g together nicely. I love the Ikea sofas. I have 2 Ektorp chairs and the love seat. Only bought 1 chair new. Others were used. Just replaced the covers is all. Love how you can build your own stuff. So jealous of that. Hope everyone stays healthy.

It all looks very nice Julie. Your husband must adore you, because you are a treasure. It takes a long time to bring a house together. I’ve been working on a small apartment for the last four years and I still don’t have art over my sofa! Still looking for something that makes me smile, and of course it has to be cheap. Lol When working on a budget we often find something better than what we found the last time and things change as we go, but ultimately they get there. I think you’re just doing a great job.

I used drop cloth to make tab curtains for our rental apartment sliding door. I love using it for so many things. I buy at my small local hardware and they are as cheap there as driving 60miles to nearest Walmarts

Everything looks great. It's nice to see that your projects don't get done all at once and it all takes time. We have a million projects going on here and I'm glad to know that you have the same thing going on. Painting a room is the worst but it really makes a difference.

I had the same IKEA sofa and covers. Absolutely amazing. I love having a lovely really clean sofa. I always intended getting another set of covers for a change
