Maybe not quite what you were looking for considering the wait for the tag and the cost of everything to come up here but I also don't blame you on pulling the trigger when you did. I live a half hour east of where you hunted. For the future I would highly recommend setting those vacation days from Nov 11th thru the 13th or 14th. This is my experience and I'm just 1 man but I've shot every single one of my bucks within those dates and have seen the biggest bucks I've laid eyes on within those dates as well. 2 reasons I believe. Mature bucks are coming off lock down and by that time it's much less likely you'll hit those random high 60s or higher temps. Good luck this fall!

I thought it was an awesome hunt man! Awesome quality and great deer! Lived in Minnesota all my life and waited 4 years for my archery tag twice and finally decided to move. Our property is only 10 miles west of allerton and was an awesome choice! Awesome hunt and definitely going to sub. Keep up the good work! And good luck this season!

I'm gonna generously guess it scored 117 to 129? Personally im Not impressed with the shooting of a 2 1/2 year old buck then making a video about it. Your video content was great quality though. You had everything on point in this production, until no kill shot and calling a juvenile buck a shooter and then killing it. I understand some people out of state think that's a big buck though. Most states that is a giant buck ive heard. Happy you got a deer I don't consider myself a big time buck shamer, I'd just love to see 4 year old deer be considered shooters, but I'll never see everyone get on board with that. Atleast this buck was never going to amount to anything judging by genetics he had going there. If the outfitter is okay with shooting scrub bucks and your satisfied that's all that matters. You had a tag to legally harvest a deer, basket rack or not. Next time maybe show off your deer and sit beside it and share some details about your moments in that stand. Act proud of your deer even if you got buck fever and made a mistake. Embrace the hunt big buck or not. Glad you had fun hunting in our great state. Nice work on the video. I was looking forward to watching your hunt, until, you started playing music over the natural sounds of the video. There's a time to use music and the time to not there's never a time to use annoying. Just leave it natural the music is unnecessary. I'm moving on to another video.
